Yeah, same for me. I had a lot of hope for them but it just didn't work out. Trap Stun, Seven Tools and Magic Drain are better candidates for the slots. I've also found that a single copy of Duality is great for setup, but no more than that since we do tend to special summon outside of setting Totem and Masked.

Tried it, worked out terribly lol D;

Burst Breath is best kept at 1 with this sort of monster lineup. Most of the time it's a -1, you have to activate it at the right time for it to be a 2 for 2 or a plus. I also don't always have to monster fodder to spare.

Trap Hole is an indefinite 1 for 1, sometimes more if it's a Synchro.

You deserved top 4 playing almost every top deck! Perfect example of a duelist with game play knowledge taking a forgotten theme and winning. Anyone can take GKs or sabers and do well. Top finishers have to be good with their sideboard like you are to make a deck people want to start copying.

Been there, done that. However Duality is not supposed to entirely replace Sarco right now. Dragons have ONE trump, one very important card that is even more important to pull off, and Sarco can indefinitely gets setup while you wall with floaters. PoD's also a superb dead draw if you already started a swarm. Running staples instead of Duality has proven more useful to me.

I'm planning on dropping them for the T6S sausagefest weeks, since it's just way too freaking slow for them.

hi, i was reading the rulings for ladd and it saids cards activated from the hand are negated but return to the hand. so if my opponent were to play dark hole and i negate it with ladd can he play it again the same turn from his hand over and over again?

Dark Hole activates on the field, not the hand. That ruling is referring to cards like Gorz or Battle Fader.

Sabers quite honestly scare the crap out of me. They're difficult to side against (I don't have the luxury of Tkings, ruins my deck formula with heavily-relied Totems), and the mechanics are identical to the way Dragons play, except with MUCH better effects/support. It's sad to duel an upgrade. Lol. xD

The future for this build is very unclear for next format. I already know I'm revamping the entire thing, the deck in its current form going to be too slow to compete with Sams.

It has worked excellently for me thus far, though.
