There are many things on this video that I agree with and others that I do not. Honestly I believe we need meat but I do not believe we need to treat animals this way. The slaughter house does indeed sicken me but it doesn't mean that all farmers practice this. I'm sure many do but not all. Also it was a very interesting video but I got to admit the filters were a bit distracting as for the information, shocking. Either way, interesting video and I do believe people should know. So thanks :)

@sugarpuff7511 I am so glad to know that you are expressing your opinion. I do enjoy feedback! I do not ever try to make anyone feel uncomfortable. We all have different opinions and beliefs. That is more than fine. I appreciate you voicing yours. How are my filters distracting? It's just black and white contrast. haha! Many people choose to use them and some do not. @sugarpuff7511 I am sorry if my editing is distracting to you. I just personally like to let the effects I use to portray the mood of my video. When speaking about sad subjects like this, I like to use black and white. And then sometimes I use black and white on my xoxovegan channel because I like to change it up! I like videos to have different effects. It's not for everyone of course! :)

Poor kitty, I am so glad you are taking care of her. We are currently feeding 2 cats that roam around the neighborhood. They won't let us touch them but they come every night expecting the food we give them so we know that means they don't have a home. I am hoping to gain their trust so I can bring them in, I cannot keep them since I already have 5 cats but we want to get them spayed/neutered and adopted :)

That is truly sad that someone would even consider letting her out by herself especially in a deserted area. Again we are desert buddies and this happens here. People constantly drop off dogs in the more rural areas of town thinking that someone will just adopt them, but again in this economy it is hard for anyone to take anyone else in. The responsible thing to do is try to find them a home or no k ill shelter. I wish I could take in all those abandoned. I can't have pets. :( Glad she's okay :)

@RoseWhiteRoseRed It is! It's extremely sad! We are so angry that someone would abandon her like this! Or abandon any animal! It's un-imaginiable! Yes, the most responsible thing to do is find a no kill shelter or someone trustworthy and loyal to take in animals! I'm sorry you can't have animals. It's totally understandable! @AnimalPeaceProject I live in an apartment complex. The only persons that are allowed to have animals are a blind man with the sweetest doberman seeing eye dog...and my landlord with her little Yorky that has gotten better about not barking and then her daughter who has 3 very small dogs as well. It's not fair and also they are RIGHT NEXT DOOR. They will get better about not barking, but for now...it's kind of annoying. I wish I could have my rats here or even a shelter cat. A vegan w/o pets?

@RoseWhiteRoseRed Oh my gosh that's sad! You aren't able to have animals but the landlords are?! I understand about the blind man though. That's understandable but, your landlords?! You should be able to have an animal in your home! You know, if you didn't live so close to the landlord, I would bring an animal in without telling the landlord. We've done that so many times. But you live so close I wouldn't want you to chance getting into trouble! Not everyone is able to have pets, it's fine <3

@AnimalPeaceProject Yeah, I just wish I could have my rats here. My mom keeps them for me, but the room they stay in does not have heat and they will probably not make it through the winter. They aren't doing well anyways, but it's their time. Just wish I could have them around. My landlord is nice and not nosey or anything, but that one thing pisses me off.

It's a shame that I needed to make a video like this. I wish people just saw automatically that abandoning an animal is never the answer! Never ever ever.

This made me so sad...glad to hear you are taking care of the kitty. This is what happened to my cat Naomi...her family abandoned her and she ended up at Tigeracat Rescues which is where we adopted her. She's such an amazing cat, I still feel angry that her family just left her like she was nothing.

@veggiebeauty I'm sorry to make you sad! :( We love the kitty. She is an angel. It makes me so sad and extremely outraged that people do these things. I couldn't imagine leaving my animals. Wow, see that's amazing. You did a really great thing! It hurts to know their past but animals are *so* strong. They seriously get through so many terrible things. It's beautiful to see. It's just sad that they go through these things!

@barbiedlux You're absolutely right. There are many foreclosures here :( Just in my little division of a bigger division neighborhood there is more than HALF the full neighborhood filled with foreclosure/bank owned signs. It's extremely sad but it's even worse when animals have been left to fend for themselves. It's extremely depressing and heart breaking to think about. That's why I thought i'd chime in and make a video about the little gem we discovered. Trying to name her at the moment lol!
