when i was younger all i wore was black! and i worse loads of leather aswell. I basicaly looked like a goth and i begged my mum to let me die my hair black. I worse balck eye linner etc.
But now i ware bright colours and more natural make up. But my music tast never changed. So for me i feel that goths are not depressing etc. Cuz i am a very bubbly person :Dxoxo but i still fell more at home in black and black eyelinner lol xoxoxoxoxoxo <3

Im going to make a documentary about chavs, but just interview my goth mates about what they think of them, and use aphex twin for the soundtrack,Im sure that will be informative, non biased and totally not an utter bunch of bollocks.

people are people. but there are certain people who where similar style of clothing (black nail polish, eyeliner, black clothes, litstens to dark music) and instead of using that long description we use the word goth. thats the reason for the label.

Bauhaus was wearing black long before Sisters of Mercy, hate to break it to you. They got their look from the Bauhaus movement, and from German Expressionism. (the "Bela Legosi's Dead album cover features a scene from "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari"), and Bela Legosi's Dead was the first song written by "Bauhaus" a band lead by Peter Murphy, and considered the founder of Goth Music. The song "Bela Legosi's Dead" was featured in the David Bowie vampire flick "The Hunger", and then it took off.

Just to say, most people these days dress that way and label themselves goths and emos for attention. Not many people actually do it for the lifestyle. If they look like that they know their gonna turn heads. They know people are going to talk. You can't expect to dress like that and not have people dislike it. It's just natural for that to be. People want to have attention by all means go for it. I'm not gonna judge you but many other people will.
