  • absolutely fantastic! really beautifully played

  • @Ross17033 Thank you so much Ross.

  • Excelente!!!

  • wow, this is talent, well done bro

  • @missimiexo Thank you.............

  • Can i ask how you learnt this? Can you play by ear?

  • @chursthouse Hi... I think I first learned it through tabs in guitar player magazine years ago, and then slowly added my own licks and approach to it over time. I was especially inspired after hearing Stevie Ray Vaughn play it as an instrumental.

  • Methamphetamine is a hell of a drug

  • @MrCowcakes Yeah; I remember it was.... the time or 2 I tried it decades ago. If you are insinuating that I was wired while playing this, you may be right, but it was a cup or 2 of coffee,,,, the only crank I use these days.

  • Amazing stuff Greg. You take the guitar to a level way above where I am, which I can only look up to in awe. I'm getting a crick in the neck.

  • caralho, esse coroa usa droga!!!!!

  • caralho , que vibe man!!!!!!!!

  • @romuleko Gracias para los palabras simpatico.

  • the heavy breathing makes it all the better

  • @IVIONKEYNUTZ Thanks; few apreciate the distraction of my nasty habit of exhaling and holding my breath and grunting through a song... I try hard not to, but still do.........

  • sickness dude feeling it like a mofo

  • @Swankman Thanks; you make it worth posting.

  • Interesting cover,.. well done

  • more compliments

  • wow! very very great sir! thanks for the guitar playing. Sorry to asking this, but why did you take a breath from your mouth while playing?

  • @zzy66613 SEE BELOW

  • Nice job man!

  • why you are mumbling and doing strange sound with your trought?Just play your so good !

  • @apotapopipo Sorry. I developed a nasty habit while playing electric guitar in a band for many years of grunting when I play lead guitar. I try to curb it, but it leaks out sometimes. thanks for listening and commenting.

  • Thank you for this sir! I am just starting to play this instrument and this is inspirational. I hate to ask this because i know the answer, but how long have you been playing? I believe new pursuit of mine will take years to get your level, but so be it. As for those naysayers on Jimi Hendrix, in my limited time studying the guitar I can state that there may be 13 year olds who can play him after a certain time, but could they possibly create what he did? Therein lies his genious.

  • @jimmylane99 Hi jimmy. Thanks for listening and commenting. i've obviously (not because I am so good, but because of the gray hair and age) have played many years, like 30 or so. BUT it doesnt take that long to get good. It takes PRACTICE and TIME. So if you want to get good in a few years, you have to play hours every day. In the late 60s Carlos Santana played 5-6 hrs a day. Thats what it takes to be a pro.

  • Thoroughly enjoy you....... as for Che, Ive got mixed feelings. Everyone should agree that U.S. and Western corporate oppression and plundering of Latin America created him. Every action has a reaction.

  • @jhallberry Thank you for the comment. I was not trying to make any statment with the shirt, it was just what I had on that day. But I do agree with your comment.

  • Liked your playing, but had to leave your site. Your Shirt is a communist murderer, not a revolutionary.

  • @kurtusloew You are entitled to your opinion, but I hope you realize it is just and only that. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. There are no ultimate objective criteria. If you were British in 1776, our founding fathers would be considered insurgent, terrorist, murderers.

  • Great Job! Your version is much better than Hendrix. I have thirteen year old students that can blow away Hendrix.

  • @jamesclarkston1 Yeah, it seems that the next generation almost starts where the last one left off; better athletes, musicians, and lets hope thinkers and leaders. "I hear those babies cry. I watch them grow. They'll learn much more than I'll ever know." Sachmo.

  • @jamesclarkston1 And by blowing away Hendrix you mean that they're able to create a musical masterpiece equally genious as his song Little wing ? And by musical masterpiece i don't just mean technique...that's something everyone can learn...I'm talking about the feeling, the composition and ofcourse the fact that he made this kind of music when no music like his was being made which means he was a pioneer, and without a doubt one of the greatest...

  • you got soul, mate. bless you.

  • Nice take

    Love and peace

    Malcolm
