This calibration procedure will also work on Dynam A-10 dual 40A ESC as well.
I'm using a Spektrum DX6i to fly my A-10 and replacement ESC I bought was not calibrated as shipped, one motor not in sync with the other(came on little late than the other).
Using this procedure, both ESC came into sync and the motors are now also in sync.
I wish I had taken my prop off like you said i ruined my battery because it cut the wires. Luckily the plane is fine and my fingers are fine but I definitely won't make that mistake again. I feel like an idiot. Being lazy never pays off does it? lol I guess I'm the typical lazy American stereotype.
