  • era defining, isn't it???

  • ótimo, os caras eram gênios mesmo e foram muito injustiçados, thanxs from brazil, valeu!!!

  • I've been chewing this same piece of gum for 20 years...

  • I said it 100 times before and I will say it again for another thousand, You could not hate these guys. Even watching this commercial makes me love them more.

  • just incase anyone didn't know, carefree gum is back now. it's available in peppermint and original bubble, and you can find it at your local wal-mart.

  • Thats a Nice idea hahaha

  • FUCKED

  • then xxdottnetxx you probably like bieber too, i feel sorry for you.

  • OMG, what was that Seinfeld thing?

  • This add is classic and they shouldn't of been treate they did . They are the ones who got scandeled . They look hot as in this video.

  • haha, funny...

  • Great commercial, lol

  • LOL I remember this as a kid! I dont care I still thought milli vanilli was cool didn't care that they didn't sing what they did was no different today so everybody needs chill and let it go it wasn't their fault they were duped to a scandal like that....

  • 0:22 to 0:26 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

    they look so sexy

    (im using my brothers account)

  • If you've gone from fame to a joke, you might as well cash in on it. (There's prob some flow-chart Hollywood agents has cooked up, from Shakespeare to Mason Family, the expected return on investment etc.) These days the Kardashians reside right about the level the Milli Vanilli boys had fallen to. But they've got a fame secured...by the "Give it Mikey, he'll eat anything" level of media consumerism your average cultural consumer has fallen to. They've/we've taken the dive rt. along w/ the rest.

  • That was fun! - Cynical view? Or righteous, (riotous), burbling-up on the various indigestibles? I relate my heartburn... You decide :-)

  • Seinfeld at the end of the clip

  • @HarleyStcool YES I caught that..what was that about??

  • The Lady shaking her head Back and Forth Just adds The humor to This, You Really have to been a certain age, To get The Jist of This commercial and The message, it brings, Even Though They were caught lip syncing, Who Cares , so many other Groups did the same back Then when They went on stage, ie, New kids on the block, Vanillia ice, I know it wasent their voices, But stil They were entertaining Nonetheless, :)

  • Bam Bam Bigelow!

  • The dance is the best part!!!!

  • They really are genuine dudes if you listen to them speak. They were screwed by the deceitful and greedy fabricating folks of the record company.

  • I regained a lot of respect for them when they made this ad. Talk about making lemonade from lemons.

  • That's cold

  • Talk about a low blow...lol

  • lol. sad what happened to those boys. and wow a seinfeld commercial. i was just a kid so i never knew about him until the early 2000s.

  • BURN !!!

  • that was very very classy of them....bless their hearts...i am so sorry the way things turned out for them.....it's too bad the public is so unforgiving....they could have had a chance if people would have given it to them....to this day, i think they were great, and yes i agree, they were very good sports.

  • @hberggreen Classy? Good sports? I am apparently more cold-hearted than I thought. I see this as desperation. It is definitely a shame; they were clearly used and had little to nothing to do with the overall scam, although it can be said they went along with it. Hey, they accepted the Grammy!

  • great advertisement. Rob and Fab were good sports about the whole thing.

  • does anyone know the name of aria they're singing? composer? opera?

  • its all about the cash. i would have don it to!!. hell yea

  • lmao hey at least they somewhat had humor about this situation

  • jajajaja is good

  • @comentarioo no it didn't it came out lil bit after. that was the whole point of the joke in the commercial

  • Hey, wait a minute! I remember this commercial. Great.

  • haha hyah hyah hyah hyah

  • hahhaha is very funny!!

  • Awwwww, they're so cute!

At least they could joke about it.

Them lip-synching doesn't take away from the fact that they were incredibly sexy.

    -drools-

    I'm 19 lol

  • i love that look they give each other at the end too cute

    rip rob

  • OMG- I remember this commercial!!! Loved it then, loved seeing it again now!!! Such a shame what happened to Rob....but at least Fab is still singing (and singing well). I wish they would've brought him back to sing Girl You Know It's True at this year's Grammys....would've stayed awake for that!!! Everyone else these days seems to get a second chance after making a mistake...why not him???

  • @mcandken What makes it so bad is that it was not their mistake, it was their manager's. I am really really sorry that Nilly Vanilly (or whatever their names are) got caught. I wish they had a better solution so that they will not get caught and at the same time sang their own songs and not lip sync.

  • @mcandkeN; YES indeed; Fab is singing and playing his instruments well...if that did occur at the grammy's - it would've taken the world by storm..that would've been SO EPIC! And seriously - he should def get anoth chance w/a diff record label obv...he's def a performer

  • LoL

  • Ya and Fab Morvan has a website that is just his name and he is still sooo hott i've loved them since i was 10 lol but fab's song "anytime" is gooood

  • I remember this ad!! Wow. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  • Lol its good that they cud make fun of them selvs. PS theyre soooo hottttt

  • Cyrusfruean - I think the only thing they could do at the time was to laugh at themselves and make the best of a difficult situation.

  • *LMFAO* That was the BEST!

  • Poor guys!

  • boom boom pow

  • does anybody know the opera song they were singing? that song is bad ass!

  • cute!!!

  • JAMILASHLEY: Lighten up...

  • Bam Bam Bigelow!

  • and they think it's funny huh? losers.

these guys are the epitome of plagiarism. taking credit (a Grammy) for a work they did not do.

  • They said in an interview that all they wanted was not to get the Grammy. At that time they were trying real hard to get out of their contract but since they had signed it without a lawyer they were trapped. But in the end they told their producer that if he didn't let them sing that they would no longer perform and then he exposed them. They apologized many times so give 'em a break.

  • I agree w/you, misspilatus. Besides, I give them credit for being able to "laugh" at themselves a bit. They knew they messed up but at some point people need to let the negativity go. Its been like what? 20 years now.

  • "people need to let the negativity go. Its been like what? 20 years now."

I agree. And "misspilatus" was my old account. It got suspended so I had to start all over again! Damn I was mad! But I'm so glad that Fab is still making music. I can't wait til his album and the movie come out! I'm dying to know who they're gonna get to play them!

  • Luv - thanks for explaining. I can see how that would happen on you tube. ;-)

  • wow funny..they must have been hurting to humiliate themselves YET again..entertaining for me though!

  • One of them won't EVER be singing himself. So I guess that gum lasts a long time.

  • jpastuch...not cute with this comment

  • how come they agreed to do this? i dont understand.

  • kosakoaskoskaokosakosakosakosakokosa

  • Thats cold.el oh el

  • haha these guys are cool :D they joked around with the thing that almost ruined their career. awesome

  • "almost?"

  • that really was cool of them to do. lol at there faces at the end

  • its also funny how at the end of the commercial the Seinfeld show commercial also starts.

  • かっこいいね。麻生太郎に聞かせたい。

  • Wow, takes me back to when I was like 8. Still funny.

  • ha i remember this... so young that i was oblivious to what was going on at the time besides this commercial (unless the alcohol killed those braincells )

  • omg.. fucking awful dance moves jajajaja!!!

  • Edílson e Edmilson!

  • OMG, I had forgotten all about this vid. I remember how big of a controversy it was when they were exposed and then to see this commercial a while later made me laugh and respect them that they were able to joke about it all.

  • funny how this commercial was announcing what was to come...

  • actually this commercial came after they got exposed.

  • that is so awesome

  • i remember it too. very interesting how the world worked back then. they were crucified.

does anyone wonder why television shows are so

obsessed with the idea we want to see complete

    strangers sing?

    i find it odd.

  • Was that a "Seinfeld" promo coming on at the end :)

  • Ja ja ja yes!

  • They had a good sense of humor despite the hate they faced from every corner. How awesome is that?

  • @EveAngela Guess I'm just cynical and heartless....I see this as: How desperate is that?

  • it isn't fake, I remember watching that commercial on TV

  • i remember this.. i dont care what anybody thinks i still and always will like them.

  • see them scroll with them eyes xD

    love that guys

  • fuck u bitch

  • It took some balls to own up to what they did! Gosh, I love them!!! xD

    R.I.P. ROB

  • LOL

  • Elaine and Jerry come in at the end...

  • was thinking the same thing

  • :25 HILARIOUS lmao

    i loved these freaking guys

    RIP Rob

  • I agree, it took so much to laugh at themselves. I applaud them for doing that

  • thats cool how they can make fun of themselves

  • Guts!

This puts the word ASS to the test

  • good commercial puts humor in their scandal

    rest in peice rob

  • rip ROB

  • Good on them!

    R.I.P ROB.

  • RIP indeed.

  • Didn't... one of them commit suicide after the scandal?

  • no he died of an overdose a few years later unrelated

  • it is totally related, because of what happened to them after the scandal that he started doing drugs...hence the overdose

  • jajajaj

pero ahi ya icieron publiko k no kantaban

    xdxdxdxd

  • wow I am young I remember seeing this commercial on tv but I never knew who these guys were I just thought it was somewhat funny commercial.

  • ama su cerocidad

  • leila divisa

    yo diviso

    aunq sea eso

  • thay should have nhever did it look at the video iv uploaded of fab morvan really singing

  • I remember regaining a lot of respect for both of them for doing that ad. One of the best examples of making the best of a bad situation.

  • The worst burn was at the end of the commercial.

  • LOL, that was sooo funny. That was really them??? dag. lol yeah they should have won an oscar lol.

  • Those dudes had one hell of a ride back then! They didn't sing on their own record, couldn't dance, sold millions of copies, made a LOAD of cash, won a f*ckin' grammy for it, and the whole time because they were on the inside of the joke. They deserve an Oscar for what they did cause they are VERY gift actors! Props to Rob and Fab!

  • Lol I'm surprised they actualy play along like a big joke =) nice indeed.

Too bad Rob had to die eventualy.. I'm not sure if it had something to do with the humiliation though or whether it would have happend anyways.

  • That was nice of them to do.

  • Hey, Milli Vanilli tried to rebound after being exposed, but it did not work.

  • it took me awhile to get the point of this commercial! i realized it was made after the scandal and thought it was made while they were still in business lol!

  • oooooooo now i get it! lolz wow yeah they handled it pretty well.

  • Wowzers. They handled that commercial well and the intent of comedy works extremely well.

  • Excelente anuncio, mis idolos de mi epoca de colegio ridiculizados.
