DIY Rock Band Drum Pedal Mod Fix

Just in case anyone stumbles upon this three years after this video was made... I used this mod and it works FANTASTICALLY. We took a little farther and added some cork under the pedal to lower the center of gravity and make it easier to hit. I just used a lot more screws (and sturdier/thicker ones, too). This mod is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing! You saved my Rock Band career :)

wat i did i got my dad to get his friend to get a plate cut out made out of cheker plate and used this super glue and 3 days later there you have it and my pedal was broke by the way.

My question is: are people really going crazy enough to break the drum pedal for rock band? I mean, I get into the song and all, but the feel is just so far from the real thing that I don't get that crazy...maybe it's just me. lol

well, they put the spring in the wrong place, and its too strong, where most people put their foot puts stress on the parts where the spring isnt and it causes it to arch and break in half..u probably put ur foot in the right place which is on top of the spring lol
