General Clay did a good job showing some teeth instead of the acceptance all over again. Soviets understood and Russians understand force, strength. If you're weak, the gonna get you.

@Id3ntity29 you should check that when this incident happened the t55 significantly outclassed the m60 in armor, in fact this crisis brought as a consequence a redesign of the m60. Later the m60 could stand against the t55, but in 1961 it didnt have a chance

Germany + Russia should be brothers in arms this time around, not brothers in death. The defeat of Nazi Germany was essentially the beginning of the fall of the USSR, because the entire world turned their attention on defeating the Soviet Union once Germany was no longer a threat.

Soviets had 400 divisions in Eastern Europe. The US had..I think about 10 divisions. Everyone who was there knew that any conflict would quickly go nuclear as it was the only real way to stop the Soviets
