I enjoy the games, especially the ones that have come out just recently and the improvement in software is clearly visible if you've played the first titles (which I have). Of course I'm justifying it because opinions have justifications. I had money to blow on something so I chose Kinect, liked the demos and so on and so forth. Because clearly when riding a horse flailing about with your hands will make it jump. Anyone who actually knows how to ride a horse will find amusement in this.

The game instructions explain clearly you have to bend your knees then stand up to jump and that raising your hand is how to stop.

@NikcersInTheNight several things wrong with that first it works sometimes so either he is doing it right but not right enough or the game is not good at reading his movements second the other guy did it first and he was fine and the fact the his advice did not really help shows how messed up it was and the game skipped the instructions because he was practicing the motions this game sucks dont blame the players cause the game is bad

@NikcersInTheNight it didnt show in this video that when they were setting up this game the first guy was practicing the motions and the game thought it meant he was telling it to skip the instructions so they didn't know how to control it for that mini-game.

Funny video... the commentator is ridiculous in this game - however, if they read the "How to Play" screen before hitting 'continue"; they would know that you bend your knees and then stand up straight to make your horse jump... raising your arms up makes your horse stop.

This game is not nearly as bad as the reviews are painting it.

The fact is, Kinect works perfectly well when you set it up and use it correctly.
