I can't say thanks enough for posting this!! Years and years ago before there was such a thing as DVR I recorded this cartoon on VHS w/ other Christmas shows. My dad accidentally broke it.

I cried when Noël broke years ago and I cried today. Lol. This cartoon is so heart warming. Stuff like this is why I LOVE youtube! :)

I love this cartoon/book! However, the whole middle part has been left out. The part where Christmas after Christmas happened and everyone grows up and how Noel has to make new friends with all the new Christmas trees...It would be perfect if this wasn't omitted. Watcher beware of disappointment. :(

I have Never seen this cartoon before. When my 18 year-old was about 1 yr old, she received the book. It has always been a favorite. A real classic at our "people-things box" hey, to md12ster, can u post it in all one part? since you-tube took off the time limit. after remembering our book, and not finding it, i was googling to find Noel pic to make his face on red ornaments. My daughter was going to record herself reading the book and giving out ad dvd of it and the ornament to friends:)

I have searched the likely places of my house and not found it... siimply called Noel. and the edition we had is a Little Golden Book .The author has had other stories made into cartoons as well but his name escapes me at the moment. . The ornament in the book is definetely red, not purple. but I am sure your ornament is a treasure as well :)

@MotherShrimp I got the book for Christmas :) So I am happy haha :) I know in the book he was red however in the end when he dies he turns sparkly pink ( his spirit) which is why my ornament that came with the book when i first got the book is purple and sparkly

I only saw this like one or two years before it stopped being shown. :( I miss the old days before recorded shows. It was SO EXCITING when Christmas shows came on the t.v.
