Amazing! now this is so great that i have soooo many questions! kk so what did you use to color the picture......like all the different tools you used? also did you draw that picture? how long did it take? how old are you?(cuz i wanna know how long you have been drawing for)........XD lots of questions, but your are REALLY good! im just a beginner with drawing anime ^_^

@TsunaXBurner4 woah!so many questions XD umm...I used copic ciao, pastel chalk, black and white ink, coloured pencils, normal pencil... yes, I did draw everything in that picture (the characterdesign is by matsuri hino though) it took me several hours, I don't know how long at all but more than 7h, I'm sure. I am 18 and I started drawing with 13 :)

@Red1Blooded1Angel i'm going to assume its Bristol, vellum, watercolor, or marker paper. Bristol is like one of the best papers for multi-media drawing :)

Are copic markers easy to blend, is it easy to blend as you would with paint? How much did copic markers cost you??

@purpelrose95 Copic markers are around 200 - 300 dollars.. I got a 72 set of Copic Ciao and it didn't last me long cuz' i used it almost every day lol. I recommend the Copic Originals. They hold more ink. If you ask me, i personally hate the blending marker ._.;

I use a very thick paper....

I don't know but it's about 3 or 4 times thicker than normal copy papers are @__@ So that the paper cannot suck the colours too much XD;

I got copics a few month ago, but I still have problems with coloring cos they dry too fast so that one can see lines. Most I have problems with skincolors...

I'd love to get some advics and tricks ^^

okay, thats quite a problem everyone starting with copics has :)I suppose you use a type of paper which is too thin or copy paper, right? Those types are sucking the colours out of the copics and are not good to colour on.

I always use very thick paper :'D

But you also can use extra Copic Paper, but be sure to work on the clean side, the uneven side also sucks the colours too hard :(And it's also good when you repeat colouring the same part,so that part gets enough colour :)(important with skin)

i love copics, i have 144! the 72 A and B sketch set. and i purchased additional skin tones. so many combinations for skin. i also use the R000+R00+R01+R02 series for skin. also use BV31 for added shadows. thank you for the E50 thru E33 combination. i seldom use those. im gonna try them on my next character.

I think skin colours are really important (E00, E50, E21, E33... and so on everything with an E)

and the basic colours red, green, blue, yellow... and of course black ;D

I only use copic ciao, coz I think these ones are better for beginners and much cheaper <3
