Superb idea. I've often had fantasies about becoming a programmer and making software to accurately reacreate a game world with accurate physics. Part of the problem with that though is that you need to know the rules in order to recreate them.

Kudos ! Nice idea. As the whole world is going towards virtual , it will be very much ideal for collaboration works and reduces cost.

I have always wanted to have virtual physics lab for many experiments from large to small. However, I must caution that you must realize the limitations since you cannot possibly know all the laws and all the properties since we are still discovering and redefining the least familiar. Some are yet to be discovered and detailed, and may not exist such as higgs boson.

Still, a great idea and can be used to refine knowledge and invent new things. I hope you win this one too.

This is a neat idea although I think you should also emphasize the collaborative aspect more. This project could have lots of potential for schools and science education in general, it also fits nicely with America's push to get more girls studying science.
