the ecu closes the servo valve in the exhaust at upper rpm to keep the noise down on us models. so by jumping the 2 pins, it maps your bike to euro mode. letting your exhaust flow fully at high rpm. thats it. no fuel curve or anything else.
it switches the ECU from US specs to Euro specs...the ones imported into the US were restricted and switching to euro specs takes the restrictions off...u get bout 5 hp up top, u really dont notice a difference until about 13k (the overrev range) some people with the 07-08 model swear the get 10-12 hp up top.....i have a slip on wich does away with the butterfly valve and a PC III which remapps so this mod doesnt really do much for me, but if u have stock exhaust u really feel it

Hmm, wonder if this works for the Ninja 500 '04... Last time I was playing around under the seat I think I saw a strange taped up cord like that.
