I am from Uruguay, from where the short film is, i also live in the city where the robots "atack". I also have read gantz, and think that is really a very good manga.

This is actually a short film from 2009 called "Panic Attack", filmed in Uruguay. The completed short got the director (Fede Álvarez) a movie deal with Ghost House (Sam Raimi). Someone just put the Gantz title over the top and uploaded it.
