Just some trivia about andy - he started K-1 in 93/94 aged 29-30 (imagine a 25yr old andy), he was the lightest heavyweight in K-1 at around 98kg, usually giving in excess of 10kg to his opponents, he won a K-1 WGP & appeared in three finals, thats one heck of an achievement & you can't help but wonder what more a younger andy could have done & if the leukemia effected his performance - you can clearly see in his later fights that he wasn't his usual self.

I love how Andy would rarely follow up with extra hits after he KO someone. I don't really blame fighters that do because they want to be sure the fights over. But it does show that Andy was a great sportsman and was very aware, he seemed to know when he got a good hit in. You can even see him instinctively reach out to catch his opponent after a kick. He was a great, spectacular fighter and a class act. Such a shame he died so young but he will be remembered.
