When I saw the picture of the dead one I was like OMG, how could he be dead, he was standing next to Cox all the time, wasn't it Mr. Taylor that died, wich Cox said he won't die within 30 minutes. That was antil I watched it again and I read the reactions I started to understood Ben was the guy that died.

you notice that after JD said "He went into cardiac arrest and died" we all assume that it was the old patient. You don't notice that no one talks to Ben besides Dr. Cox after that.

I don't get this... Jordan's brother was only in Dr Cox's head? But he interacted with several characters at the beginning of this episode! What am I missing?

I think, when J.D´s patient die, it is actually Ben. So he was alive in the beginning but not after, but dr. Cox is in denial, and blames J.D. I don´t think ben interactes whit anyone after that :-)

He's alive up until Dr. Cox leaves and he has his camera. After "he" goes into cardiac arrest he's dead and only interacts with Cox and doesn't take ant more pictures.
