The woman behind the campaign to cancel the show was Lisa Fager from the pressure group "Industry Ears". Lisa Fager lists "The Boondocks" as her favorite show on her Facebook page. "The Boondocks" 2nd episode had footage of a 14 year old black girl being urinated on and enjoying it! Why the press didn't print that is anybody's guess. The media in this country is a joke!
@mattwarren85 me too! But mtv didnt continue the show because of the "Woof meets Snoop Dogg" episode. They got so many complaints MTV didn't go into a 2nd season or make a DVD release. That episode was severly edited, but if there are fans of the show this show can be revived like Futurama, Family Guy and Beavis and Butt-Head :D
You have to remember that Snoop Dog DID actually show up to an MTV Award show with women wearing dog collars. Unfortunately the pressure groups and the media couldn't do 2 seconds of research to figure that out and they weren't about to admit they were wrong and print a retraction. This show was screwed and MTV were cowards for not standing behind a great cartoon.
