Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the best CoD games. Infinity Ward is just a name, not a company anymore. And MW3 is just a complete rip off of Black Ops.
I stayed with IW till MW3, and not anymore. I wait for the Respawn Entertainment game.
CoD was good to me up till 2010, now I go back to the good ones with the good story.
pt 2. MW2 was overhyped in more ways then one. The new engine was great, and at times it looked real, but the storyline was short and confusing and no where near as good as CoD4, or the god of a story World at War, and the multiplayer was overcomplicated and did away with the balance and fun of the older games. Black Ops came and fixed everything that MW2 did wrong, had an excellent, worthwhile storymode, and more balanced multiplayer. MW3, was just as good as Black Ops. But none were as good..

So I just stopped playing Call of Duty and started playing Battlefield.

@MrFigmentofi I started at call of duty 3, and now I'm glad I came back to the first two. They are a lot better than the CoD games we have now. Even if mw2 and 3 are good, they will never beat the old CoD games
@Hargrove2011 Have you played Call of Duty United Offensive? If you haven't I highly suggest you do. It's an expansion pack for the first call of duty made by a different company, but honestly you won't even realize that it is. It's that good. It not like a map pack where you get some more levels and nothing more. No this is practically a game in itself. It's called an expansion pack because you need to first game installed to be able to play the EP.
Way better game than any of the new ones.
