  • You did not show what Dog (?name) did during installation. You said he was going to help.

  • i can believe how perfect windows 7 run :) 3 years and i din't never have any problem. With windows vista i used to have problems last say 3-4 times at day windows 7 rock :D

  • 2:50 XD "Fatty"

  • Bye oss...

  • I know understand how BIOS works. And how it finds and to install my Windows! Thank you :)

  • Should i install 32bit or 64bit? i got new fresh gaming PC done tommorrow and dunno which one to take

  • @Astro247z 64. More software is compattible with 64

  • @Astro247z 64bit. With 32bit you are limited in the amount of RAM you can install(4 GB). Also, less programs are compatible with 32bit as opposed to 64 bit.

  • @Astro247z 64-bit. also, if you installed more than 4gb of ram in your new build 32-bit won't recognize them. so if you want to use more than 4gb of ram you NEED 64-bit.

  • @john5743 how did you find my comment? i posted it so long ago and people still keep answering to me lol :D

    I got Windows 7 ultimate 64bit

  • Check out my How to get Windows 7 Ultimate (Free), video

  • should i buy the oem or retail version.

  • if i get the oem can i re install it later if something happens or say i get an ssd would i be able to re install it on same computer?

  • When I get to the part where it states upgrade or custome. I choose custome. I get to "where do you want to install windows" but it's not showing any drives in the box below. At the bottom it has an error that states ' no drives were found. Click load driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation " Can you help

  • would this be the same if you make your own computer. and you start it up for the first time an you have to install a running software?

  • Good video but one quibble. Windows XP Mode is in Windows 7 Professional, not just Ultimate.

  • @paradigm71 it's in Professional, Utimate & Enterprise :)

  • @mursug Yeah, I realize that, but my point was that in the video, he implied it was only in Ultimate.

  • @paradigm71 i think all the features from pro are in ultimate

  • can someone tell me which is better, windows ultimate or windows professional

  • Windows 7 takes me 10 min to install, better than XP that took 39 min.

  • @sj8h its called dual screening much better 4 gamng

  • Hi can you tell me why you are using 2 monitors?

  • @sj8h better multi tasking, and if he had a better second monitor he could use both to game on.

  • PLEASE HELP!!!! If I live outside the US (in Mexico) but have an aunt that lives in Texas, could I pay with cash with a money order (send her the money so she mails it to newegg with all the info required)?? And if so do I still need an american credit card??

  • I prefer having Linux and then Windows in a dual-boot. Both have their advantages and both have their disadvantages in my opinion. I won't prefer one of the two because they are both great.

  • @Darkteammadfiz Linux is only free if your time is worthless.

Would be nice having complete control over your OS though

  • @mario11168 I am only using Linux for 8-9 months :D

For everything material I am not good but anything software-related I am a tad better. Yes, complete control of my OS is cool, I really like Slackware64 and Windows 7 HP.

  • great review and nice dog

  • Hey you guys can you tell me why are some guys are using 2 monitors ??? pls reply soon

  • @lefteris908

    BIG viewing

  • Guiny-Bear?

  • CPU MOBO WIN7 COMIN TUESDAY THEN MY FIRST PC BUILD WILL COMPREEEEET WOOOOOOOOOO OMG IM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I need help it says "No drives were found. Click Load Driver to provide a mass storage driver for installation."

  • If you need a tutorial to install windows, you shouldn't be doing it

  • Dont u need a product key for this?

  • @lilapjt5605 I was about to ask that...plus what about for home enterainment such as editing HQ images and video, or watching blu ray discs...is in it better with professional than with home premium.?

  • i wish i was good at computers like this. im gonna take css at school next year. taking cisco now but it isnt helping me much

  • At 2:16, you are supposed to change the 2nd boot to Hard Drive! Otherwise your hard drive will not work like you showed at the end of the video. I saw the annotation, but it should have shown on the video the error made. Also, it would be easier if you would just press F10 to go into the boot menu, an average user might hate going into the BIOS but hopefully they will learn how to operate it. Nice video.

  • i thought that this would have stuff i didnt know, but it was still a good video

  • When I back-up my files can I put it back to my computer again? Please answer me quickly.

  • @videokillerknight I'm sure you've found out by now, but when you back up your files on an external device such as a flash drive, external hard drive, or disk, you can easily put them back on. Once you have your computer ready to add the backed-up data on, you just insert your back-up device after installing any software that came with it, select computer from the start menu, and you should see the device under hard disk drives or "devices with external storage". It will not be named as disk C.

  • If say I have two hard drives, a slave and a master, and I back everything up to the slave drive, and then select my master as the main hard drive to install win 7 to, I know the master will get formatted but will my other slave hard drive too?

  • @patrickpl94 Only the drive you select will get formatted. Hope this helps.

  • @EvilDestroyerTR Ok thanks alot. I thought id have to unplug my second hard drive lol

  • @patrickpl94 Oh, one more thing, disconnect your slave drive from the computer. It won't become formatted but do it anyways so your computer does not confuse what drive to boot up. Once you have successfully installed Windows7 reconnect your slave drive and retrieve your backed up files.

  • @EvilDestroyerTR Oh ok, I will, thanks. One more question though, I got the systems bulider 64-bit OEM version of windows 7 from newegg to put on my computer that has vista on it. Will it work just like the upgrade? I'm know the Oem version doesn't have the upgrade option, but I figured I don't need it since I'm going from a 32-bit to a 64-bit system anyways.

  • @patrickpl94 It should work as an upgrade, or you can go with a custom fresh install. It is really up to you. As long as you have your files backed up, you'll be fine.

  • tnx

  • ok :P

  • is that a phone book under your monitor? lol

  • @froggersman i guess it is

  • nice dog man ; )

  • 1:34 and i have also seen f2.....you will also have to have your monitor on xD

  • @GavinSamAnimation Mac is also a PC.

  • can i request the music you threw in the backround?

  • @DiLLaDohNuTs the song names are in the credits

  • everything works during installation. but i dont know why does it freeze at the "completing installation" part? it looks like it was almost done and bahm it freezes and i cant move the cursor. im using windows xp service pack 3 and i have all the requirements cause thats what the ugrade advisor 7 said.

  • well!!!!! you fail this time. you sayd "its faster than windows xp as well " its not!!! but its faster than vista. the fastest windows version was windows 95 because it was made for slow computers

  • Love your dog dude!

  • When my computer manafacturer installed Windows 7, Aero didn't work, then he went to download my video card driver or something then it came.

  • I was very pleased with Windows 7 right out of the box. The only real gripe I had was UAC, which I turned off immediately. Second thing I did was install Java so I could play Minecraft, which played surprisingly well even without proper video card drivers.

  • Don't forget a pen

  • can i use an w7 home upgrade pack on a non geniune copy of vista???

  • yeah I have to say I prefer Ubuntu, my computer came with windows 7 and i cant stand using it

  • @MrTarfu That is valuable information for the rest of us.

  • Is thie bigger monitor 22" inch??

  • .......you also want to have your monitor on.....

  • bios

    bye-ahhs

    ahahahah

    its bye-ohs

  • Just want to say thank you.

  • Hello Thank you for your help brother it's been great cheers man :)

  • Question: Why enter the BIOS, when you can just choose where to boot from by pressing F8? (Sometimes F12, too, I think.)

  • @Justin10473 F8 brings you into the Bios on allot of PC's. On mine that I built and the 5 others I build, Function 8 (F8) brought you into the bios which he is talking about.

  • @DreAdeDcoRpSE

    Oops, must be F12 then.

I never bother to take the extra step with the bios, when I install an OS.

  • @Man93Pool Funny... in your channel it says your 17 wich means you are a liar and so our little chat is over... Get a life!

  • 1606516

  • When i installed it to my windows xp laptop the sound stopped working. Can anyone help with this problem.

  • @Man93Pool Your age clearly explains your opinion....

One friendly advise > study more!

  • Was your dog drunk?

  • @ItsJackRabbit That DOG has a name.

  • @SenorCajones and the name is?

  • thanks

  • Who calls it a "BIAWS"? I mean you'd just think the OS in BIOS would have an O sound like...OS.

  • u can get all that shit pirated ahhh i love the internet

  • Thanks for the information...very helpfull stuff.

  • @TheXponentsInc

i have no crappy PC i will get over 1 weak

    a intel i7 laptop + windows XP

  • You already had World of Warcraft on there?

    Nice

  • i did it but it was for windows vista ultimate

  • Windows 7 sucks

    use windows XP

  • MAC > Think Different

    LINUX > Think Smart

    WINDOWS > Dont Think!

  • 2:44 but how can you erase your current partition settings to create new ones, just like the XP setup does??

  • @PSTube1000You dont now how my fave looks like so f**k you ;)ASS

  • Windows 7 is available to download on:

  • Send me the wallpaper at 5:47 pls

  • "you also wanna have your monitor on." lol

  • Lol, disk partition 0: Fatty LOL

  • is that windows 7 beta?

  • @MrMorgzzz No it's Windows 7 Build Fu ck your mot her bitch:)

  • hey how can we install windows 7 if we have no windows before..?

  • @sarmad776 Same method as shown in this video. When installing Windows 7 choose "Fresh Install." The "Upgrade" options is for users who want to upgrade from a previous Windows such as Windows Vista. This is not your case and you are better off. Installing Windows fresh without a previous Windows is better for performance and stability, as stated in this video! :)

  • what is the breed of your dog?

    i liked it

  • haha kinda funny. I have that same alarm clock

  • i neeed some info on how yo reboot my computer

  • @nichalos5 Reboot just means to turn your computer off, or shutdown, and then to turn it back on. Unless you meant something else?

  • What screen recorder is this dude using? I need one thats totally Windows 7 compatible!

  • @keith23uk Take a look into Camtasia Studio from TechSmith. Great piece of software and includes features such as editing, exporting into any kind of format you can imagine and captions. Much more. Take a look at the website! :)

  • Note REALLY IMPORTANT! Install Windows 7 first on a larger screen that does those really high reses. Otherwise you could have serious issues later if you only install on a 17inch VGA monitor for eg! I know this from a bad experience very recently! I still had to use F8 low res mode 640x480 to get up and running regardless.

  • When I get to the drive part, no drives pop up. What do you think is worng? I need help asap!

  • @sscheevel15 Check to make sure the hard drive you are referring to is picked up and appears in BIOS. Next make sure the drive is formatted in NTFS format. The drive should now appear. To do this, at 2:53 in the video you will see the "Drive Options" button at the bottom right. Click this and select "format" drive. NOTE: All data on the drive will be erased, regardless of what format you conduct.

  • @KillSpark Thanks, but I figured out another way to do it. I reset my laptop to its factory settings and then i tried re-installing it and it worked!

  • I saw Air Supply in your music folder.. I know you have that soft side in you...

  • I installed windows 7 yesterday using clean install, i had vista but i wanted to make a complete restart. when i chose clean it said that i had an installed operating system and that it was going to be moved to a folder called windows.old

when the install was succesfull all my programs was gone but when i open the hardrive C, everything in my download folder etc is still there.

    1. did i do a clean install or did i accidently press upgrade?

    2. can i simply delete the folder called windows.old?

  • I like your dog!

  • I have no doubt that Windows 7 is a great OS. However, installing it is a massive headache that rarely goes as smoothly as it did in this video. I thought it was only me, until I Googled "Windows 7 hangs during installation" and I saw the message boards swamped with people who could not install it. What an amazing pain in the you know what.

  • I have never installed a different OS to a computer before and I'm getting a new Laptop with the basic Windows 7 already installed on it but I want to install Ultimate(Buying Ultimate at the same time as the laptop) on there the day I get it. So do I need to back up my harddrive because I'm getting a few programs with it(Ex.Sony ACID 8) and don't know if they will be preinstalled or on a physical disk.

  • What's the Windows XP compatibility thing?

  • Hey I saw WoW and Vent! nice 4:29

  • could you tell me how to redo my system by getting my d drive partition. I want to format c drive and axcess d drive because my computer freezes everytime I boot up.

  • jus a qucik question..i bought 7 professional..its in the mail..can i only install it once?

  • @faheem1k No. You can install it as many times as you like. However, the CD-Key becomes locked to your specific computer. Meaning a hardware change such as a motherboard or CPU may not allow you to reinstall Windows 7 on that PC. So, in short, you can install Windows 7 as many times as needed on only ONE PC. Choose wisely. :)

  • @KillSpark thx man this really helped

  • my name is cum swallower 69,"

and windows 7 was my idea

  • lol your dog doesn't like to be on camera

  • Hey bro thanks for your great review.. hey i like your wallpaper can u plz tell me where to find it thanks =)

  • Paul is that a Samsung HD PC Monitor? If it is what model is it?

  • If you dont backup your files what happens? Dose it wipe out evrything and reset to factory settings?

  • @44Studios WELL YOU LOSE ALL YOUR FILES!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO U THINK WILL HAPPEN?

  • @wozzupgamer Thats what i just asked like will it clear the drive? and will it like restore the computer?

  • @44Studios if u dont backup u lose all files and it resets it to factory settings(when it was first installed / preinstalled)

  • @wozzupgamer So like when i first got my computer/operating system?

  • @44Studios yes

  • You don't even have to go through the first step, you can just go to the boot menu.

  • Hopefully getting a new laptop

Mac was too expensive, and I had a tight budget.

But if my laptop comes loaded with Windows Vista, I'll shit bricks

  • i got mine for free at bestbuy lol a emplyee told me when i bought my laptop they would give me a copy for free cause i had vista on it apparently they fucked up so i got pissed and they gave me a full version win 7 pro with both 64 and 32 bit versions a 200 dollar value for free.

  • @macsux1 lool

  • i wouldnt do this. if u like to download a lot of stuff i wouldnt do this. just buy a computer with windows 7 already on the computer

  • LOL his Disk 0 partition is named *Fatty* I rofled :D

  • REMEMBER TO CHANGE BACK TO HARD DISK (in bios) RIGHT?

  • it should be noted that you don't NEED an enclosure, you can just put the old hdd in your comp and format it, and it will work the same, if not faster (if the enclosure doesn't have esata)

  • i bought W7 Ultimate x64 the day it was released, i uninstalled WMP, Media Center and DVD Maker, disabled a billion services, the jumplists, taskbar pinning and other billion things.

all i have is simply W7 simplified as XP, uses less ram and less annoying cause i dont need all this stuff.

honestly W7 is the best OS i ever used since XP, a little slower (a couple fps) in some games (sometimes faster) but the OS @ the desktop is faster and better.

i never used Vista, skipped it completely.

  • @YearraeY

Your drop in FPS might be due to you running DX10 and 11 games, which is expected. Everything you've said........I agree 100%. Good post. Windows 7 has all the strengths of XP and Vista with none of the weaknesses. The small tradeoff in higher system requirements is a moot point, since technology has sprung ahead so far since the XP days that it easily counteracts the effect.

  • can u guys help me when i install windows7 its come like this

    what i have to do???

Windows Mail is no longer included in Windows; however your e-mail files and settings will still be available after the upgrade. To send and receive e-mail you will need to install a new e-mail program. You can get e-mail programs from other software manufacturers or from the Microsoft website.

    ?????

  • @NarutoXforever123 you need to download it from windows 7 essentials. Type "live essentials" in the start menu search bar.

  • can any one help me guys

when i install windows 7 theres a error come 2 me about windows mail what i have to do???

  • @NarutoXforever123

Be more specific. What type of error?

  • This video was brillantly made and basically is flawless in explaining everything we need to know.
