  • @Dman9fp You mean punk not grunge right?

  • thumbs up if you popped a boner when you heard this song on Varsity Blues, and still love it

  • Ah, it's time to relax...you know what that means.

A glass of wine, your favorite easy chair, and of course, this compact disc playing on your home stereo...

So go on indulge yourself, that's right!

    Kick off your shoes!

    Put your feet up!

Lean back and just enjoy the melodies... After all, music soothes even the savage beast.

  • Daje kopa,niczym nitro...........piékne czasy,najlepsze wakacje,zajebiste wspomnienia.AVE ZUZA

  • 8 people have paper for bollocks.

  • @lalalala304 i hope your a chick. otherwise keep the shirt on

  • i remember my youth...fuck...im getting old but offspring still rocks

  • Green day dookie, pennywise about time, and offspring smash, cassette tapes, thats whats up

  • @1hellotube long time ago!

  • I can remember listening to this as young kid when green day was punk and offspring was heavy, metallica still rained as heavy metal... wtf happened to music... thank god for avenged, all that remains, and ffdp..... sad state of music... oh well... rock on dexter!

  • @danedog311 avenged, all that remains, ffdp are part of the sad state music.

  • Listened to oFFSPRING MY ENTIRE LIFE AND i came out one badass mothafucka! how about you?!

  • @LuvAirTraffic Evens me!

  • @LuvAirTraffic they are my alltime fav band. i would go to sleep to this album in grade 9... and now i'm a sweet mother of 3... no badass here :)

  • my favorite wake up song

  • Too bad the Guitar Hero/ Rock band craze is over because I always wished there was a Rock band: Offspring. I would love too sing this song as loud as I can while my hip hop loving friends fail miserably at playing the drums to this lol.

  • Hehe, at last im happy i know what nitro means :)

The Offspring made my feelings, pure greatness :))

  • I got this CD when it came out. I'm 50 and I still listen to it. If I reach 90, I'll still be listening to it.

  • I lived on nirvana-s Nevermind before this came out... 1 guy in my flat owned this casette, and i wanted a copy ofc. But he wasnt gonna make 1 for me, coz he used hes original ONLY for copy once for himself, when the 1st copy was played so many times, i could hear only mumbling.... He also collected cigarette boxes. Im a hungarian guy, and i managed to get a japanese cigarette box.... at the end ive got me copy.... which was used only for copy purposes ofc. :P

  • first CD i ever bought. still listen to it.

  • I'm a hip hop artist.. and grew up listening to punk and hip hop and i love rap. but this song is amazing

  • there still good......

  • This was one of the BEST albums of the 90's. I'm amazed at the following they have now with they type of music they play these days. It sounds like a bunch of metronomic crap and lyrical nonsense.

  • Offspring. The only punkrock band also appreciated from metalheadz. I saw them live back in 2004. Best concert in my life.

  • @maynardPA you must not be a metalhead if you think the offspring are the only punk band we appreciated, what about minor threat, dead kennedys, black flag, bad brains, bad religion, circle jerks, agent orange, sex pistols, ramones, the clash, the damned and the list goes on, a lot of thrash metal bands cite all traditional and hardcore punk as an influence.

  • My First Cassette Tape Ever, along with Greenday - Dookie! This shit gives me chills listening to this again! What happened to sick music like this period!

  • What happened to these guys? Why did they change ? They let the industry castrate them!!! This is where they should've stayed.

  • offspring was the first concert i went too they were sick and always be !!!!!!!!!!!

  • i meen seriously y even listen to it if u dont like it

  • Punk Rock rules xD

    "You live there's no tomowrow"

  • 7 people don't live like there's no tomorrow.

  • what happened to these guys......??

  • loco mesmo gostei mesmo ja voltei

  • ai sim hein loco mesmo valellllllllll

  • OLD SCHOOL ROCK!! FOREVER!!!!

  • @DandxMTeam doesn't offspring make punk music? I really don't know myself but it sounds like punk, just let you know.

  • AHHH, FUCK!!!!

  • I can spell rape.. OFFSPRING

  • @xIxAmxThexRealxHarsh You can spell raped ... RAP hahaha

  • @Kyrzak12 ....................... just shut up

  • I remember listening to this while sitting in my mini desk, coloring with crayons in my coloring book. Thanks Dad.

  • thanks to my bro grew up on the offspring....

  • the offsring best album

  • offsping best album!!!!!

  • Great shit...

  • To Jest Moc!!!!!Best of the best

  • To Jest Moc!!!!!

  • I jog to this song and to The Meaning of Life, and let me tell you... it makes me want to run so much faster!! Other suggestions for runners are Metallica's Damage Inc and Metal Militia.

  • @danielmrtns I couldn't agree with your more lol. I feel like you just read my mind. Metallica and offspring are great bands to run to. It's gives you that extra pump and energy.

  • This is by far my favorite song. Insane what insight this song holds on our generation.

  • its just a friggin ingenious song!

    Smash 4 ever!

  • if this shit doesnt pump you up, then you must be fcking dead!

  • live faster if you don't take it you'll never make it, woah oh oh oh woah oh oh oh.

  • Love This Fucking Song

  • @VVolare Pure energy man =)

  • offspring is such a sell out now this is real offspring thumbs up if u agree

  • Tunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne

  • Americana gets boring too soon. The songs on it are too happy. I prefer the dark, satiric, do-the-fuck-you-want and no-future attitude of the Offspring. :P

  • @Suntearock the offspring sold out really bad. they suck now

  • @Suntearock woooord! the first 3 albums we off the hook! WTF

  • @Suntearock

Fuck yeah, old offspring fucking rules. I had the chance to see them play around 3 years ago, they played all their old shit. Fuck yeah.

  • @InVasRel Lucky guy! I hope I have the chance to visit one soon.

  • @Suntearock you mean the " fuck you i do want i want bitch " attitude

  • @Suntearock Me too this is OFFSPRING. FLY GUY who the fuck was that. I was 21 years old when this came out. Now twenty years later I still crank this song in the morning before I leave to go Boarding, Sledding , moto cross riding. If your gonna push it it your whole life, you need a GREAT anthem. And this is the greatest anthem of all times. Not sure what a seventy year old guy on crotch rocket will look like. But I imagine i wont be the first. when I get their . OFFSPRING forever.

  • Americana isn't their worse album

Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace is

  • I listen to this song like everyday!!!!!!!!!! It is so AWESOME!!!!!!

  • nitro: what i listen to as loud as the speakers will let me.

  • For x-mas I got 2 Cd's "Smash" and some Coolio Gangsta's Paradise... I threw coolio in the trash and listened to this cd everyday for 4 years. I was 8yrs old.

  • @TheDFM007 wtf Gangsta's Paradise was one of the best rap albums of all time why would you throw it away?!

  • @TheDFM007 lol coolio aint no fucking body. Tupac!!!

  • @TheDFM007-This album is often, but you should have kept the Coolio.

  • @thegunclub123-Often? Awesome, such a fail. Incomprehensible FAIL.

  • The first time i heard this song it was in my dad's car. I really liked it but had no clue what the song name was so i search "Live life like there's no tommarow" on youtube. Now that i found it i can't get it out of of my head. Every day I sing "so if you understand me and if you fell the same then you will know what nitro means"

  • new offspring is a shit... old songs have something... they have nitro

  • Aaaaaaaaaaa lol!!!!!!

  • jedini omot albuma koji mi je ostao u glavi iz mog detinjstva ... tada je sve bilo ne bitno samo Offspring u kasosh i loziiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • Hands down one of the top 5 songs ever written by the Offspring

  • ...i remember playing dreamcast in like 6th grade with my nephews, and this cd played non stop.....

  • about 10 years ago i listened to this album when i was a skater kid i loved skating to it, now i just love it, i think this album is border line between punk and thrash its fast as fuck! i think this album was a warm up before i got into thrash coz it has some elements of thrash in there mainly speed! i love it, theres not many bands who can sound punky and thashy at the same time but the offspring have done it....fuckin increadible band!

  • makes me sad and happy at the same time. brings back early teenage memories. Great times!!

  • this album was recorded with Epitaph who's cool so we can listen to these songs on youtube unlike their subsequent albums on major labels and their corporate henchmen (anybody catch the henchman reference?) - go epitaph

  • i grew up listening to this, and i´m still psyched on this band

    it just never gets old

  • It's too bad they went commercial in the end, their old shit used to fucking rock!

  • @Kokkie024 ehh they didn't sell out they just changed, it happens like or not, but every band changes. some for commercial success others cuz they want to try something new. the offspring imo did the latter

  • @Slayerhead17 I never used the expresion 'sell out'. I just think their old stuff was way better. But hey, your right it's just an opinion

  • @Kokkie024 i can't disagree. all of their stuff is good but old offspring is smash your face full throttle punk. Like i said all bands change, sometimes you wish they could stay the same forever but we all change with age. Just gotta enjoy what they've given us

  • @Slayerhead17 and changing style is actually called "selling out".

  • I fucking love the Offspring...

    youtube.com/v/WgdjDgX784g&amp

  • BEST.ALBUM.EVER.

  • Its kinda ironic how "smash is their breakthrough album

  • @hey134 I think you mean appropriate, not ironic

  • @bman462 i dont think so. cuz in the song smash he says "im not a trendy asshole"

  • @i1dont1give1a1shit0 i guess in that way your right

  • rock on

  • Short and sweet. You can't find another band that make a 2 and a half minute song, and you couldn't be more satisfied. Offspring is such a great band.

  • @Bowlinking Whaaaaaaaat? What about The Beatles or The Ramones - if it wasn't for The Ramones there would've never been Offspring!

  • best song ever

  • awsome song. heard is while my lil bro was playing nhl2k9. glad i listened to it.

  • Smash is the best album by far!

  • sex pistols and the ramones must be proud of these boyz.....im pro Metal, but i like this group. oh yeah dnt 4get the adolesesants, and misfits too!

  • They should be proud of them since the guitarist from Bad Religion started the record company Epitaph and signed these boys there and got this baby out but after Smash they got very uninteresting because I never liked Ixnay.

  • @manbaerpigg I'm pro metal as well. Smash was highly metal-influenced, it's so awesome. You can appreciate it as a punk fan or a metal fan, because it takes the best from both worlds.

  • @DarthKrattus It's awesome to be concerned with issues in society without being assholes about it, playing really heavy and fast, kick-ass tunes.

  • @DarthKrattus so right mate

  • @DarthKrattus Well said my friend. Thumbs up...

  • This is by far one of their best songs. It just kicks your ass from beginning to end. I love it.

  • @forevertrulywicked93 ure right man.. with some song on ixnay in ombre

  • STEVIE RICHARDS!!!

  • So if you understand me

And if you feel the same

Then you will know what nitro means

  • fuckin good offspring song! i forgot they were one of the best badns from the 90's

  • along with Nirvanaz, Soundgardenz, Alice in Chainz, Red Hot Chilli Pepperz or Stone Temple Pilots

  • also with pennywise, bad religion, millencolin, no use for a name, lagwagon, no fun at all, assorted jelly beans, refused, RKL and many others

  • Fool! It's "Stone Temple Pilotz"!

  • haha, this album brings back SO many memories!! I remember saving up my allowance when I was 10 (16 years ago) just to buy it on tape/cassette. My friend was pissed cuz I wouldn't let him borrow it. Good times -- great album!!

  • similar story here. but ten years ago. lost the album 7/8 years ago, god bless you tube :D

  • I got it on cd, when it was released.. I cant remember it being available on tape^^

  • it was on tape, I got this when I was 9 years old on cassette and I am 24 now. it was one of my first tapes.

  • @Metzelduh

Wow you are right. Just found one on ebay.

Guess they were not available in Germany at that time.

  • me too I used to listen to this and go to the BMX track by my home.

  • I was listening to this very tape tonight while really high, and having a few beers.... nothing like offspring to flood back memories

  • @Metzelduh same with me!

  • @Metzelduh I'm 27 now but I had this on cassette too. And Bad Religion, NOFX, Pennywise stuff... good times. I miss those days :(

  • @Metzelduh it's absurd my story is the same of your ,i was 9 and my cousin gave me this album on tape.....now i'm 23 and make the musician for work

  • @Metzelduh My brother bought this CD when I was nine or ten and I stole that shit so fast... I am 23 now and I still PUMP Smash all the time....

  • @pgfrankl good to know there is still some of us out there that will let punk live on!!

  • @Metzelduh Im 24 too and this was the first album I ever bought (Along with prodigy's fat of the land album) and are the best albums that I ever bought (I was 11 then lol)!

  • @Metzelduh hell yea it was one of my first tapes to :) 25 myself

  • @atypicalcalifornian First album I ever bought on CD. 29 years old here.

  • @Metzelduh I still have the legit cassette (with case etc). You can buy it off me for *sticks pinky in mouth* 1 million dollars.

  • @Metzelduh Lucky! I have to grow up with almost all the new music crap.

  • @Metzelduh my older brother had this tape when i was about 9 it is life changing iam now 23 i still love this album like back then

  • @Metzelduh I remember being caught in school with this tape in my walkman when I was 10. First tape I owned and one of the best albums ever!

  • @Metzelduh Lucky you . I was patrolling at powder king resort . I was 23 then . I cranked this everymorning in the whale. Atco trailer set up as staff accom. Peeps would get mad every day as I was always up first. Fuck them they kept me up all night as I went to bed first.. So i was up first, pay back a bitch!! LOL. How about a little offspring for your alrm clock every 7 am HAHAHHAHA. Guaranteed they all still LOVE me and will never forget this song. Live like theres no tommorow

  • @Metzelduh Exactly the same here, man! This was literally my first tape ever, in fact.

  • This album is so fucking badass! I mean just look at the fucking cover! I remember Dexter using dreds during this time! Offspring was my all time favorite band at this time, being at an innocent age, portraying them as gods to me!

  • nitro. when you realise Dexter has a degree in Molecular Biology, it all makes sense.

  • Gu sogo faiexo dxi offspring dennek uls 90's Bagra Nim geyng!

  • THIS SONG GRABS!!!!!

  • i know what nitro mean, bitch i am nitro

  • ♥

  • you do that with alt + what number?

  • no.....copia e incolla =)

  • oo.... but you know if there another way to do it?

  • nooo.....i don t know....

  • as far as im concerned... this is the only album offspring put out.

    great song.

  • wat do u mean? lol

  • smash is the only album worth listening to by them.

  • no way, ixnay igood as well. GONE AWAY has to be one of the best written songs ever! I agree that after that its a little mehhhh.

  • Read the title LMAO

  • nitro hahaha

  • this is 1 of offsprings best albums like americana n ixnay on the hombre the offspring also has some good lyrics like not the one or all i want or nitro n smash so live your life as good as u can cuz u only got 1 X ]

  • nitro youth energy live your life do wut u want when ur young cuz ull never b young again

  • what does he want to mean whit nitro??? great album

  • no has mentioned that americana was also a kick ass album. the song Americana is awesome.

  • This song is awesomer.

  • youre right bro , fuck americana , but te song its great

  • Varsity Blues!

  • well...thinking about it "rise and fall" is not that bad...actually Hammerhead is a kickass song!!! and Trust in You is also really good... but in general, the songs they made on that album turn them to some kind of "surf band"...

  • the offspring disapointed me with "splinter" and "rise and fall"...SMASH AND IXNAY 4EVER!!!!

  • I disagree with your pooint about Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. There were some good tracks on that album like You're gonna go far, kid; Hammerhead; Look a lot like me; and Kristy are You Doing Okay?. It wasn't a total letdown (Unlike Splinter) but yes, over all, I agree that Smash and Ixnay were much better.

  • @MrPedro23ist Really? I was dissapointed my americana and conspiracy, I'd say splinter and rise are better than those two. Ignition is good too, dont like self titled.

  • @MrPedro23ist Don't forget their debut album.

  • @MrPedro23ist hey man splinter isn't that bad, can't get my head around you, da hui, long way home, and the noose are all very good songs. i have to agree on rise and fall, i was pretty disappointed by how many ballads were on it

  • @MrPedro23ist After Ixnay and The Smash IT UP cover it seemed like the band wasent the same anymore. When Pretty Fly came out it sounded like it was a different singer all together almost.

  • @ColorsBright well you're right but that and why don't you get a job were more commercial. stuff like americana "the song", starring at the sun, walla walla, and no brakes remind me of old offspring. They still kept their punk sound but slightly varied it and added pop tendencies, in that repect it is diffrent. but hey at least they didn't pull a linkin park or metallica and sell out completely
