I totally agree with you, as I think that they should not charge any fees for unemployment. Unemployment is not a good thing as many are just living off of unemployment than take a low end job. If Unemployment was not offered, then people will not have a choice but to accept a low end job for a low pay rate.
@patsaxon I don't agree on people simply living off unemployment because they're lazy or don't want a lesser paying job. I'm unemployed right now and believe me when I say there are no jobs out there for me, in my area. My son was unemployed for over a yr and thanks to some insiders, was hired about 6 months ago. If not for those contacts, he would still be unemployed and without any unemployment insurance, a 99'er for sure.
What people don't realize is that we have the power over these institutions. We don't have to stop buying gas or using banks as a whole, but by boycotting certain ones we will have the ability to demand fair treatment. If we as a whole collectively decide to simply not bank with chase or to not buy gas from BP they will be forced to offer us what we want instead of giving us the shaft. I had an account with Chase back in the 90's and learned my lesson then not to bank with them.
What the public needs to understand is that all "big" banks did not need TARP money. The well managed banks like JP Morgan Chase were coersed into taking the funds so that other banks didn't look bad.
I remember watching a hearing where the big banks were testifing and one said (don't remember now which one) they didn't need TARP money and wanted to give it back.
i just started my seeds today, yay. watermelon, cantaloupe, tomato, and sunflower. all heirloom. i had more seeds, but the package said cool season crop, so ill have to wait until fall.
Good for you, now if you aren't already prepared, it's time to start collecting, or getting ideas on how you want to can them. Most people freeze and that's ok but in the old days it wasn't an option and I believe we need to think about doing things more like it was done back then. But that's just me.
If these companies fail to pay back the tax money and the government is to corrupt to punish these people, I got a pair of concert shoes for everyone on that list of banks their already dead they just dont know it, if they dont pay back the money they stole. You dont steal from my children and future generations of Americans and get away with it sometimes bullets are the best way to settle disagreements and usually its the best way to deal with thieves.
I wait to see, dont think going claiming chapter 11 will save you
People like me are going to pay you visit and make sure you pay for your thievery. Banking executives Pray the government throws you in jail for life it will far less then what people like me will do to you.
Banks will find a way to charge you money no matter what you do. Even if you have your unemployment cheque deposited automaticaly. They'll find an excuse to charge you for doing that.

Banks are vampires!
See if you can get into a credit union, they are member owned and do not charge as much in fees as the vampire banks.
