  • Folks. The goal is to ignore MisterNifty. He posts on Dallasmetropolis and just about half of the people on Dallasmetropolis ignores his ass because he is so negative and thinks he knows everything but he doesn't. So disregard anything he has to say.

  • I don't post negative comments. I don't post there. Your forum is five people sitting out on a balcony drinking tea. I do come in to listen to you type though. I am a very good listener.

You people are a perversion to what used to be the great city of Dallas. Those great ones were closer to the real Dallas. Most grew up on farms. They weren't afraid of the homeless.

Anyway, as the master class, you folks do express great banter. Watch the crumbs. Cheerio.

  • Try to imagine an area 30 times as large as this and you have Manhattan Island. That is the goal of Uptown Dallas is to one day live like an arrogant New Yorker. Meanwhile, as billions are spent on building Uptown parks and fake bridges, the surrounding area of what was once the great city of Dallas sinks in disrepair. Great job liberal socialists.

    liberal socialists or greedy capitalists?

  • I agree. Capitalists don't understand that there isn't such a thing as a capitalist government. A capitalist government either does nothing or else it is Marxist. The phenomenon going on in Central Dallas is corporate welfare. In its full manifestation, one gets health care if they are rich or poor. The middle class remains ill.

So, its back to the primitive days of master and slave classes when the slave table is made to eat responsibly without them ever quenching their thirst first.

  • Hmm... interesting. I have been thinking of visiting Dallas since I lived there for 7 years, leaving for D.C. in 1994. Now I've decided.... naw.. not worth it. Big D is not a real city, it's a faceless sprawl. There's nothing natural about it. If some s_itty area gets trendy, the developers turn in into a sort of urban Disneyland, the West End, and Uptown being two good examples. God I love D.C. more all the time, slums and all.
