I bet you could squeeze a couple more ponies out with a professional tune. The stock computers are setup for a pretty mild curve. Also, I noticed a considerable increase in flow efficiency when I ported and polished my throttle body. Took about 4hrs all together and 5 dremel sanding wheels. Lots of late model mustang, and firebird guys do it, NA or with FI.

The new chevy 6.2 is faster, but the genius who made the comment about the ford running the 6.2 (and it being fast) needs to do some research. I saw a youtube video with the 6.2 boss in a raptor and it ran like a 7.3. I think the Titan is faster than that.

220,000 miles on my 99 ford f 150 never need to replace anything but the spark plugs and battery of course usualy things. and its a daily driver... just depends on who owns the truck and the care they put it in... luck my truck is working haha flooded twice and still doesn't have problems.

I have a 2002 Tundra with 102,000 miles on it. It's not as fast as the truck in the video but it doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil and it can get up and go when I want it to. I'm imfuckinpressed with this truck...longest lasting truck on the road. She's never let me down.

I own one. 115 for the limiter on the regular cab shot bed. 110 on some of the double cabs. depends on the tires for what toyota set the limiter for. With the supercharger the limiter is deleted.

Yup tundra are the best, I always go to Mexico and I'm always getting comments about it. They didnt say that to my 06 Ford now I got the tundra and damn girls all over me now...But thats now what I want to say, I've been running this HUGE(over 20 miles) mountain in Guadalajara, Mx FULLY loaded over 1500 pounds and I'm running 90mph at 3,000rpm. The chevy's(new) be breaking their transmission on that hill. LOL

I work for toyota, and I can tell you that in all of truck sales, the tundra is the worst, next to the nissan titan. and I know im gonna get hate mail on this, but its a fact that the F-150 has been, still is, and always will be the best selling truck in the world. toyota is the only comppany in history to shut its truck plant own due to lack of sales of tundras.

actually, in 2009 it's the chevy silverado. The F150 is not the number 1 selling truck. The Ford F series (which includes the 150,250 and 350) is the number one series. (Ford's way to say they're number 1). Even their commercials do not say the F150 is number 1, they say the F series is number 1. U said that toyota is the only truck plant to shut down for lack of tundra sales. That's true, sort of. Toyota never shut down a plant for longer than two weeks.

@MikeCheat04 You can only get that engine in the LTZ or 3LT I believe, SO basically, a 45,000 dollar truck, the cheaper ones come with the slow 5.3, 4.8 or 4.3. As where Toyota offers this engine in every configuration. You can have seriously fast, 5.7 Tundra for 25 grand.

220,000 miles on my 99 ford f 150 never need to replace anything but the spark plugs and battery of course usualy things. and its a daily driver... just depends on who owns the truck and the care they put it in... luck my truck is working haha flooded twice and still doesn't have problems.

I have a 2002 Tundra with 102,000 miles on it. It's not as fast as the truck in the video but it doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil and it can get up and go when I want it to. I'm imfuckinpressed with this truck...longest lasting truck on the road. She's never let me down.

and what model is this theres no way that could go that fast (0to60 in 5.5 as stated) which it wasnt anyways...the 2007 Toyota Tundra Regular Cab 4x2 6AT weights in at 4,890 pounds and is the only reg. cab short bed that comes with the 5.7L 381HP 401TQ engine. With that power to weight ratio it would be hitting 0 to 60 in 5.8 to 6.4 seconds depending on gearing, shifts, and road conditions I counted this at 6.07 seconds with a stop watch Which makes this vid more believable

i dont know if it matters but i have a 4,580 pound dodge ram 1500 hemi 2wd reg cab short bed and i took out the spare tire cuz i got 20s and said fuck the spare 17" lol and everytime i got above 100mph it felt dangerously light in the rear i threw 2 55lbs wood pallets(from lowes) in the back and i was going over 140mph with my friends GTO ( i had the superchip cortex on mph gauge and it showed me 148 and my buddies spedo said 145mph) and i had no problems at all it felt like i was cruisin

This video is not fake... the governor kicks in at 115 MPH... I own a Tundra. Check the forums as well, and futhermore check the videos on YouTube... there are multiple videos showing Tundras above 110 MPH.

I own one. 115 for the limiter on the regular cab shot bed. 110 on some of the double cabs. depends on the tires for what toyota set the limiter for. With the supercharger the limiter is deleted.

Nissan has a Titan assembly plant in Canton, Missouri.
Daimler Chrysler will unfortunately be building the Titan in 2011.
So yes, Japanese trucks are made right in the middle of the states.
