thats why you have a 2 stroke, i had mine under water for at least 2 mins and pulled it out, let all the water run outa the exhaust and the pistons and it litterally started on the 3rd pull. and ran fine.

I just bought a 2005 500 ss and it hauls ass. I think its a fun sled to ride and i have a sno stuff can, v 3 reeds and a clutch kit. The sled jumps well and i am happy with it so far.

@Wawnosh Not a big fan of ski-doo. But the 500ss are fast. But you do know there are 600's right. there 597cc i think.

Yes, they are one of the loudest cans out there. Look into the MBRP "trail cans" or the SLP mufflers. They are among the quietest silencers on the market.

after i rebult the motor in it dose 95 on my gps so ya there fast. whith that many miles i wood ask if the motor had been blown up befor and if it hasent been blown up it will proble blow soon just becaus most sleds go at like 5000 miles

i wood see if he will take 4800 for it

it does that if you don't know how to maintain your sled, carb flences will crack, pistonrings should be replaced, seals should be checked, exhaust valves cleaned and so on.

@kx85isweet I would not recommend getting a sled with that many miles 2 strokes run like 4-5 thousand and then problems start to happen if it was 4 stroke thats a diffrent story

the 500ss is actually 597 cc's

the skidoo 500ss sleds are the old series3 600 liquid motor which originated in the '99 600 mxz and summmit 600 sleds. there not the same as a sdi or liquid
