  • $150.00 dollar guitars, nothing special for lighting, and Steve Berlin on sax...Rock and Roll at it's best.

  • I hear no sax in this song.

  • Back in the day..late seventies maybe very early eighties saw Los Lobos with local band The Penetrators at SDSU.just after How Will The Wolf Survive was released. They played in a room and we stood in front of David Hidalgo.they played their asses off.as they have ever since. One of the greatest bands of the last 40 years.........Via Con Dios Muchachos!

  • I saw this guys in london 86..

  • Esta é melhor música que eles fizeram.

  • zeitlos - immer wieder hörenswert!

  • THATS MY SONGS

  • This is the song in the movie "Weird Science" (party at Wyatts)

  • Genial !

  • One of the reasons why I miss the 80's!

  • whereas I wish the 80s had never happened, then perhaps the people I miss would've lived longer. the 80s had way too many screecher bands to want to relive that lol

  • Bueno, como Clint Eastwood dijo una vez para ti: "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one"

  • Los Lobos =hotos

  • First off, never heard this song before.... i dig it tho... I see the sax, but can't hear it... maybe my headphones are missing a channel or somethin... anyone else notice this?

  • This song have no sax. Only in the video.

No menospreciemos tampoco a la música latina, por favor. Los Lobos son unos grandes autores de Cumbia y rancheras. La basura no es el estilo musical; la basura son los necios que se hacen pasar por músicos.

  • Sure it has sax. It's back in the mix, but it's a harmony on the main riff with the guitars. If you see them live you'll hear it better.

  • great

  • ¡¡¡ Hay no´mas pal Gasto!!!

Muerance de envidia Los de Capaz y toda esa bola de Payos que tocan cover a ritmo Duranguense.

Dios Bendiga al Rock and Roll por siempre. AMEN.

  • Dios te oiga hermano ;D

  • Was this video shot at "Als Bar" on Hewitt?

My memory in my old age does not do well, but the bar looks familar!

  • mas y mas,Loslobos,I love you guys and the latin influence you bring to the blues,Have the cross roads dvd,you guys were GREAT!

  • This is a great band. I've always loved these guys. But I really don't see any Latin influence. Maybe in their lyrics. They play very traditional Rock-a-billy. The music isn't Latin influenced at all. It's 50's gutter rock and it's totally awesome.

  • You are making an assesmnt bsed on one song, listen to their La Pistola y El Corazon, Kiko, Los Lobos De Este LA, or their Aztlan Cd. Son de East LA hombre which has spanish, rock blues, soul blues and other influences.

  • Rockabilly is Rhythm and Blues, Boogie Woogie, Swing and Country. it started in the early 50's in America and is one of the oldest forms of Rock and Roll. Rockabilly is what this band is. Rockabilly is a very old form of Americana. The only difference is they sing in spanish sometimes.

  • These guys are absolutely great!! If they are this good on disc, they must be fantastic at a live concert!!!

  • Classic track from Will The Wolf Survive one of the greatest albums ever ! When will someone re-release it !

  • hip shaking stuff

  • Awesome raunchy guitar sound!

  • I remember when this album came out.

I was floored by the coolness of Los Lobos.

    COOL band.

  • great version of this on one of the recent Clapton Crossroads concerts

  • guitar solo ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Their best song.

  • check out shakin shakin shakes by los lobos. another 1 of thier best

  • Viva Los Lobos!

  • @eldorado62 you know it!!!!

  • @eldorado62 Exactly. Viva Los Lobos.

  • Thanks, you did a great job.

  • David Hidalgo. One of the greats.

  • one of the best live bands you'll ever see.

  • Cesar Rojas! Mi amor! LOL!

  • dang, the pasta house brings back memories..

  • Gees you guys, never heard of these guys until recently? Wow! I used to play them at my Mexican restaurant in Kingston, Ontario, Canada back in 87. Saw them a bunch of times with my buddy's band The Tragically Hip as well. Great band, great history. Viva Los Lobos!!

  • In The 70's My sister hired them to do a gig at the Pasta House on Olympic Blvd in East L A / Montebello

  • They've been going for years. I first saw them on British TV's Old Grey Whistle Test, back in the 80s/early 90s. Believe they used to play weddings.

  • Never heard of Los Lobos (or half the bands I listen to now) until The Sopranos came along. But I'm glad I looked into this band, because their entire library of songs is kick-ass!

  • I remember hearing this song for the first time in a mexican radio station way back in the day and thinking **what the fudge** the guitar sound is amaizing, i still love this song, i hate **la bamba** though (talk about overexposure)

  • Love Lobos, but they draw the weakest crowd... bunch of sitters. at least in minnesota.

  • there is some good guitar licks in this song. sad thing i never hear this song on the radio

  • That is because they don't play quality music on the radio. Why are you listening to the radio anyway?

  • I dig this the most! La mejor de el Los Lobos!

  • No pardon mi Espanol. Es muy mejor que otras gringos. Entiendo? Puta?

  • Blew me away the first time I ever heard this tune ... still has the POWER!

  • WTF??.. Los Lobos opening for that ripoff wannabe Los Lonely Boys?.. Crime... just goes to show you what a record contract and a catchy tune can do.. Viva Los Lobos..

  • @chicanodan74 Los Lonely Boys Rock! Go see them live, then talk!

  • @chicanodan74

Los Lobos are a bunch of viejos, and need to get to bed early.

  • @MrBluesrules They may be viejos, but they stil rock!

  • @MrBluesrules They may be viejos, but they still rock!

  • @MrBluesrules yeah, maybe viejitos...but the sound coming outta that guitarra....pinche liso !!

  • ..proof,even us fat guys can still"Get some".

  • One the greatest bands ever. SEE THEM LIVE! It'll change your life.

  • This band is the best in the Land. The best kept secret in Rock n Roll.

  • I have waited years to see this again. Thank God for You Tube!

  • Saw them last night in Seattle. Damn they ripped it up. Great mix of songs and styles. Most underrated band EVER. They signed copies of their CDs agetr the show. great guys.

  • two of the most UNDERRATED guitar players ever. not to mention the rest of the talent in the band.

  • Very sexy fat boys!!!!

  • Wow!!!!! Holy Crap!!!!! Thwe best!!!!!

  • Just to reiterate: These guys are from the barrios of East L.A. Not Texas!

I saw Los Lobos on many SoCal stages throughout the 80s and into the 90s. All were dynamic and seriously danceable gigs. Mexican-American roots rock at its finest. Fabulous musicianship. Hard-core Lobos fans should check out their trad recordings, such as "La Pistola y El Corazon." Wonderful ballads and rocking tunes, and some amazing acoustic guitar work. Que bueno!

  • I might see them this July. They're supporting Los Lonely Boys I think.

  • should be the other way around. Los Lonely Boys should open for them

  • Texas talent is the best!

  • Best music from Texas since Buddy Holly himself.

Great stuff. Thanks for the posting.

  • ummmm theyre from LA.

  • Not just from L.A. but from East L.A. orale!

  • macnificos¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • I know what your saying my friend.I personally quit smoking almost six years ago but people should still have the right in a bar. There are similar problems here in the states as well. Here is a common expression

here in the US "If you got'em smoke'em"

  • Good strait ahead rock'n'roll.Perfect setting.....a crowded smoke filled bar with shady characters and scantily dressed women.

    Long live bluesy rock'n'roll!

  • pretty cool

  • Their best song, by miles...We play it in my covers band (The Hyperbolics) and try to do it justice. Always seems to go down well with the punters. I love the guitar solos and the catchy riff.

  • These guys are the real deal, have been, always

    will be:>

  • If you don't get up and move to this...you are comatose..or way too hammered.

  • Coolness defined. Forget all dat gangsta shet boys and girls, if you can be half as cool as these cats youll be all dat and more.

  • I like this song better than la bamba

  • Hey I forgot to thank you David..for the tip on the lip-Sticks, mickes! I got an old Danelectro and also put 3 of them mikes on my Strat! Conejo Jolivet

  • This song kicks butt. Still one of my favorites.

  • kick ass

  • great they are simply great......do you remember this song in weird scence ?

    it was a blast !!!

  • yeh this is definitely roots music they do more ballads than this type.though its all great.

  • It doesn't get any better. The two guitar solos are blazin!!

  • saw these guys play a small venue in Toronto in 87' man these guys can PLAY!!!

  • Tiger Army isnt really rockabilly cmon. it barely sounds like rockabilly. they are all image of rockabilly but dont back that up musically. i do like them though. that being said Los Lobos isnt rockabilly either they are roots rock, border rock whatever but not rockabilly. silly argument. i guess neither of you have heard of The Restless or Tav Falco's Panther Burns. thats rockabilly.

  • neither one of you heard of tiger army, i guess

  • amen,best rockabilly band, period.

  • A kick ass video by one of the best bands to ever come from Los Angeles:LOS LOBOS.
