is this a GOOD wah ? i mean , are u happu with it ? i really want to buy a wah , but i can't choose between a ARTEC APW 3 , and this wah ( Behringer -HB01 )
my hellbabe died after 3 years of use it is good for practicing or beginners.for pros too but i think for the price is a good give it a try.mine as well if you buy other crap that is not helpful.spending around 30 to 40 bucks.and depending on use and abuse habits the hell babe can last you a good time..
2-Can this pedal remake Gilmour's "seagull effect"?
You know... In a Dunlop CryBaby if you put the wah-amp cable in the wha's input and the guitar-wah in the wha's output you will create that effect. If I do the same thing in this pedal, will it work???
(sorry for my mistakes: English is a foreign language for me.. :P )
I have the same pedal and when the effect is off, i can' t hear anything! Even if i have other pedals adjust or if its straightly plugged to the amp! Does anyone had the same problem? Please help!!
@Pepperakias I dont know what the other jack is in front of the output this guy was using, but if it is like many other behringer pedals and has stereo output, you need to make sure the cable running from the pedal is in the 'A" output. the "B" output in some effects pedals is reserved for running in stereo (two amps after the pedal, one getting the "dry" signal and one getting the effected signal). I dont know if you still have the issue but hopefully this helps
I bought this a week ago and what you pay for is what you'll get. Nice and easy to use w/o having to activate by stepping down all the way on the throttle pedal like most "wah pedals" looks sharp and clean and great features. Downside of it not enough range even if setting range is max. Boost enabling causes your bass /guitar strings to get muffled so you would have to adjust your boost to a certain volume only. All in all, "$30" what you pay is what you'll get! Thanks!
@msain33 thats a defective pedal of yours ,i own the same pedal and as soon as i put my foot out of it there is nothing wrong with the signal or nor any abnormal things going on,the red light stays on as well the yellow light next to it stays on if you press the button on the right side, also try to move the cradle up and down pushing a little hard sometimes that works just dont break it
i wish id bought the dunlop crybABy instead of this, because it lacks much range and especially with a heavy distortion, is not particularely noticable =/
I don't really understand the complaints.......if you wanted it to sound like a Crybaby why didn't you buy a Crybaby to start with? I think it''s a pretty cool wah pedal especially for the price. You can dial in the exact tone you want out of it using the Q control, and FineTune nob on the side, and if you need it to cut through the mix more you have the volume boost if ya want........so no complaints from me.
Good day oHazEo, nice demo you have there. Thank you for including our gear on your video. We're looking forward to see more videos from you. More power!
This pedal turned out to be a pretty expensive paperweight for me. It lacks the physical range of a crybaby and after a year and a half I still don't like it.
@eqcork Que mierda, eh! Aquí en Sudamerica el mercado de instrumentos musicales es muy limitado. Hay que tener mucho cuidado y saber bastante para comprarse buenas cosas y conseguir buenos precios.
@RockMahh quality and price, this wah is cheap knock off of a dunlop crybaby from hell wah which is far superior and durable than this wah, it may cost more, but the crybaby from hell wah worth every single peny
nope! i would recommend saving for something good. by "good" i don't mean expensive however that may be the case in most instances. Get something that you think sounds best. simple
yes i would because beginners dont need $120 wah pedals till they practice on this one....then once you get the feel for a wah pedal and experiment with it then you can move up.
well you can leave it full blast(all the way foward like a vol pedal) then you can click it or stomp it to change it to a wah. Does it go mute when you have the wah effect on? Like when it makes the wah sound, or on the by pass (off)
is this a GOOD wah ? i mean , are u happu with it ? i really want to buy a wah , but i can't choose between a ARTEC APW 3 , and this wah ( Behringer -HB01 )

Can "wah" pedals be used for volume aswell ? as i haerd they can but i don't know if this one can because i am considering buying it as its on £36.
please reply thankyou.
123domndalex456 2 years ago
well you could take it to a local music store. we re programed my friends so that it doesnt make a wah sound but change the volume.
jmannunez 2 years ago
Not all wah pedals can be used as volume pedals. But i think Morley made one which is a combined Wah/Volume pedal :)
Like when you turn off the wah, it's a volume pedal :)
trolden9520 2 years ago
Probably not, because it only gives the effect/tone. And you don't have to spend 36 euros on it, because that wah pedal is usually only $30.

That will be hard. I live in brazil and here the wah wah pedals are too expensive! A cry baby is about R$400 up or US$200 up.

dont worry m8. Cry baby is about £100 sterling (UK) and a hellbabe is £30

well you can leave it full blast(all the way foward like a vol pedal) then you can click it or stomp it to change it to a wah. Does it go mute when you have the wah effect on? Like when it makes the wah sound, or on the by pass (off)

It just goes mute wen the wah is off. Ive even tried turning the time delay up to full but it still goes mute after a few seconds.
