@Fulano2000 you need to really readup on unix file permissions. Remember this isn't windows! I would look at umasks, chmod, and FILE PERMISSIONS! Basically it works like this. Ever file/directory has an owner, they belong to group, if you belong to the same group and they have configured permission for you to access that file or directory you can either read it, browse or execute, or write to it. I know I have missed a ton of stuff but you kinda get the idea. BTW this guy should be using umasks.

@afonso360 It's only a simple FTP server.. you can pretty much use any OS for an FTP server :)
