Mario Great but I think you have the ability to sustain the rhythmic idea (du dut.....du dut.....du dut......du dut....DUH DUH) by crossing hands. We lose the rhythmic drive at 43 sec. Its a challenge but i think It can be done. I can't do it but I think its possible

I agree that it should played a LOT more violently. Its perfect spot on otherwise. But too academic. It should be ROCKING. ELP had a really "We don't give a damn" - rock attitude. It doesn't show here. Don't be afraid to add some wrong notes and really hit those keys violently, when you play Emerson. Just look what he did to his hammond organ on stage. I mean seriously...

I prefer the original Hammond (and moog), but this works really well.

He is pretty awesome indeed, but if you listen to the studio version of tarkus you can plainly hear that it is not a complete transposition; the last 3 notes of the phrase are definately E B F. Sorry, but I think the last three notes of this E-ostinato left hand figure are E-flat, B-flat and F, so he is right. It is easy to figure out just by transposing the fourth-chords from F (the beginning key) down to E. I am a drummer and have played this piece with a friend who has a Hammond B 3 organ. After our rehearsals he teached me how to play the keys. The guy here is amazing, my compliment !
