If anyone has seen the film "The Doors" with Val Kilmer, you'll notice the dialogue is almost identical to a scene in the film where Jim (Val Kilmer) as asked not tro say Hi on US TV. It's all good comedy fun!
Haha its funny that he made that into a joke but, I think the lawyers suggested the word ear because it sounds exactly like the original. Instead of saying "Her rear" he has to say "Herr-ear" It sounds the same. Haha that was funny though.

Not "ear"... they wanted to change it to "fear"
The joke was that they suggested changing the song from sodomy to rape.

You all fail at humor. I know he says rear. I was just being facetious.

He said it in Dublin too. This is all just part of his act, I guess. Check my Stephen Lynch videos and you'll see the same thing.

"Daddy wants sex that involves Mommy's ear." sounds funnier than rear to be honest, but rear definatly makes more sense.

Interesting, he did the same bit in Cologne. But I guess things are true no matter where you say them.
