I really like the ending I really do. The planet is saved the survivors. They say good-bye to their champion with a bow clearing a pah for Samus. She walks away to the light and signs off with her hand raised saying good-bye. I like that. And you know it's a good way to say bye since she does'nt talk.

When fighting Metroid Prime in the first game, you end up having to use a Phazon Beam to take it down since pure Phazon is the only thing that can hurt it.

Here, pure Phazon once again becomes the only thing that can hurt Dark Samus, but Samus doesn't have a Phazon Suit anymore, so she has to MacGuyver a Phazon Beam herself, LOL...

once she starts shooting you with phazon rain super misiles will tend to bounce straight off. The only way to damage her then is to asorb the phazon rain and fire it back at her.

The edning I got was different. It showed samus jumping through the air towards the gates with all the ing running and jumping at her from all sides and it goes into a close up on her eyes as shes spining in the air in slwo mo as she closes her eyes and then the screen goes dark and you the morph ball pop out on the other side.Why does it seem liek im ht eonyl one whose seen that ending.

When I fought her, I had at least 40 shots of Light/Dark Beam ammo left. When she becomes invisible, you can chop a rather large block of her health by blasting her with the Anhialator Beam. It depends if you picked up any ammo refills during the Emeperor Ing fight, but following this tactic saved me at least one and a half minutes of fighting.

But her second form almost killed me. I only had 10 energy tanks.

Still, I find it an effective tactic.

I'm never really concerned with finishing a battle too early. To me it's about making the battle more exciting.

But seeming this was Dark Samus, and I had a time limit, that impulse kicked in and my mind said "Screw long fights, just kick some ass"

Unlike other bosses, she's rather unpredictable, and her attacks were hard to dodge, so the longer I was fighting, the higher chance I would have died.

When Metroid Prime took away Samus' Phazon suit in Metroid Prime 1, she manipulated the phazon suit so that she can be "reborn" in it.
