that lady's right! i always wear lotion and sunscreen to school and some people think that it's makeup!on wintry days teachers ask me if im wearing makeup and i say it's sunscreen but they're just like "on a wet day?"but it'sa habit for me and also my skin doesn't feel as yucky by the end of the day.i use sunscreen as a base for eyestuff and on my cheeks the most and put oil on my cheeks to make it glow like bluch.i dont have real makeup but i just use sunscreen, oil, lipbalm/gloss&somtyms liner

just tell your mom you aren't trying to mask yourself but rather you would like to "enhance your beauty" (never lie to your parents, but you should let them know how you feel)

i dont know.but this is what i do: i invite my friends over and tell them to put makeup on before they come so that my parents will see that these days lots of girls around our age wear makeup.or u could show her some videos on youtube and tell her that there are products which r even good for pimples!she might just be worrying that if u wear alot of makeup your pimples will get worse or something. well prove to her that its not by puttin on lots of moisturiser underneath ur makeup not OTT

@ponponbabie hey well now my mom lets me :) i talked to her i dotn wear any foundation cause tahst too much but i wear powder from clinique its really good and i wear some purple eyliner cause my eyes are green so taht makes them pop i dotn recomend you to put black cause tahst too much for daily use and then some mascara oh and mineral blush and tahst it :) very natural and not too much perfect for everyday and good for our age

tip from thetyrabanksshow: if u have a lipgloss that has a brilliant shine to it but is too sticky and feels thick and uncomfortable, then put lipbalm on underneath. it always helps to make ur lips feel smooth and keeps it healthier, plus it'll be more longer-lasting and it won't look too fake:it'll have a natural shine
