Actually, Republicans DO hate Large voter turnout. They know that the majority of Americans disagree with their agenda and do everything in their power to turn off voters from participating, suppress voter turnout, throw up road blocks to participation, cage, intimidate potential voters, utilize disinformation tactics prior to elections to get people to show up at the wrong polling places or show up late and a whole host of other questionable tactics.
