It's dumb how people say that Lincoln NE sucks, because I've lived here my whole life and even if people think there's nothing to do, sometimes simple things are enough. Not just bars and stuff like that. I remember once I went over to a friend's for a sleepover and all we did was go to our old elementary school play ground and then to Zesto's :D Extremely simple but really fun!
My friend's mom and sister from 2:16-2:23 were in this video! They're all a family of redheads, it's so cute. :] Do you know that little girl is now 12?! And much taller? It's hard to believe.

Lincoln is far from a city. You want to see a city? Then go to Denver, go to Dallas, go to San Fran, Go to LA, Go to KC, hell go to Omaha. Now those are cities. Lincoln has no freeways and its always dead here. I guess your the dumbass thats never seen a real city.

Man all I got to say is Dallas TX is the shit!!! There is so much to do out here!!! Better restaurants and better bars to go to. There's a lot more shopping malls. Weather was 50 degrees out here with the beautiful skyline especially at night. Man your missing out.

The grand is a joke. They spend millions and millions of dollars on that peice of crap when they could of build another mall. South Pointe mall is for rich and preepie people. Scheeles is too damn expensive. Gateway mall is the only true mall we have but I only spend 5 min shopping there because they never have what I want. There's no good water parks or fun parks. Don't even go there star city shores with those wussy slides with no diving boards.

The Lincoln Zoo sucks and I'm tired looking at the penis structure they call the Capital. The economy just sucks here too even though I have a job. The weather sucks here too. The only good thing about Lincoln NE is Husker's football.

Lincoln is the best place ever. I've lived here all my life and I just love it. I live about 5 minutes from the country and 20 minutes from downtown, which is perfect. This video really touched me and it makes me wanna do something like that downtown. Not to mention Lincoln is a great community. We may have our differences, but one thing that can always bring us together is Husker Football!!

Lincoln, Nebraska is nice when you live in the country. The people can be rude. But in this video the people who hug you can hold a precious possession. Be a friend and give a hug. I'm 15years old and have lived in Lincoln, Nebraska my whole life. Its hard living here. But you get to know the place and everyone there pretty fast and its not so bad if you know the right crowd. I am going to try this sometime!
It's been 14+ years since I last had a hug. I so wish I could have one. Just one would be so awsome. Those people who are getting hugs in this video don't know how really lucky they are. Being able to stand, run, jump, walk, go outside, clap, dance, hug, etc... we take them all for granted until we can no longer do them. Oh my god Dallas is sicc!!!! I'm so pissed off because I might have to go back to boring old Lincoln, NE. My activities here were going to the NC Texas game in the Cowboys stadium. Did so much shopping, went ice skating inside the mall, Ate at Whataburger and jack in the box. It was off the hook. Everything is so fast pace here. And I applied with ITT Tech and went to the clubs which are off the hook. Took pictures of the beautiful skyline they have here. Fucking love it here!!!
I was born and raised in Nebraska. I join the navy and then came back for a couple of years. I got offer a job that the pay was is to good. I live in NC now but I moving to a small town because I miss the small town feel I had back in Nebraska. I move back if I could and maybe in a couple of years I will.
I have an idea, next July you should detassel, and get in touch with your inner Nebraskan. AND it will give you something to do intstead of being online and talking/typing crap!

Go to Box Awesome, listen to some music (all kinds of genres), hit up Laser Quest, check out our sickening amount of targets, movie theaters, and wal-marts... Guess you gotta live in Lincoln to know what there is to do. There's actually quite a bit. Visit the Strategic Air Command museum, our national park, go camping... Go to our zoos in omaha and lincoln and other cities. Lotta stuff if you look hard enough! :P
Nothing too huge. Been to a pretty big city in Idaho, that's about it. Doesn't matter to me, I'm good right here, where I was born. Nothing beats the feeling you get from being in your 'home land' or whatever you want to call it. I have crazy friends to keep me company.
Idaho is fucking whack just like Lincoln NE. Go to Chicago, San Diego, Denver, Boston. Cities like those are fun and have way more to do. People are way more cooler in the big cities and not so uptight. Looks like you don't travel a lot or lived in big cities.

So I'm mostly right about Lincoln, NE. Its boring, too many damn cops in one small town, hard to make money out here, there's barley any jobs, its over populated, too many damn traffic lights, people are mostly rude especially the girls, the malls suck here, the roads are fucked up, the list just goes on. The city of Lincoln company is a joke and so is the taxi service.

Cops keep us safe, traffic lights are going to be in any city. In big city the people aren't going to drive faster because they can't. (And I know that Omaha does not have less of a crime rate!) You must not really want a job and are too lazy to get off your butt and go get one. The taxi service!? We do not pride ourselves on having a "taxi service", try the bus! AND it is expanding, even as I type this!!
Traffic lights are in all cities but they also have freeways. Ways to get places to places quicker. You can go 70mph when the speed limit is 65. I do it all the time.

It ain't nothing like Lincoln. 45 mph and I go 50 and get pulled over. Cops keep us safe but they also pull us over for some bullshit like making an illegal turn. They got nothing better to do because there is barley any major crimes here. Omaha for a big city compared to other cities have lower crime rates. You just got to stay away from the lower street numbers. More to do there. Can I really catch a bus at night.
For one, if you didn't break the laws you wouldn't get pulled over. And cops have every right to pull someone over if they are going 5 mph over. And I did that once and there was a speed trap and I didn't get pulled over. I've never seen anyone get pulled over for an illegal turn, but I don't know what kind of turn you mean, like turning into the second lane or turning left on a red light. I've seen cops take the second lane on turns though. I don't feel like arguing right now, maybe later...
No any big city you do that, they wouldn't care because they got more things to worry about. I do it all the time in Denver, Chicago, and even Omaha. You have must not live bigger cities like I did because I love it. So much more to do with activities, more restaurants and malls to choose from. People are more talkative too. Its open. Can't wait to get out of this dull ass town. People are ignorant and always so serious.

Lincoln is the best place ever. I've lived here all my life and I just love it. I live about 5 minutes from the country and 20 minutes from downtown, which is perfect. This video really touched me and it makes me wanna do something like that downtown. Not to mention Lincoln is a great community. We may have our differences, but one thing that can always bring us together is Husker Football!!

Lincoln, Nebraska is nice when you live in the country. The people can be rude. But in this video the people who hug you can hold a precious possession. Be a friend and give a hug. I'm 15years old and have lived in Lincoln, Nebraska my whole life. Its hard living here. But you get to know the place and everyone there pretty fast and its not so bad if you know the right crowd. I am going to try this sometime!

It's been 14+ years since I last had a hug. I so wish I could have one. Just one would be so awsome. Those people who are getting hugs in this video don't know how really lucky they are. Being able to stand, run, jump, walk, go outside, clap, dance, hug, etc... we take them all for granted until we can no longer do them. Be grateful every day for what you have, and for what you used to have because even the littlest things are a gift.

Oh my god Dallas is sicc!!!! I'm so pissed off because I might have to go back to boring old Lincoln, NE. My activities here were going to the NC Texas game in the Cowboys stadium. Did so much shopping, went ice skating inside the mall, Ate at Whataburger and jack in the box. It was off the hook. Everything is so fast pace here. And I applied with ITT Tech and went to the clubs which are off the hook. Took pictures of the beautiful skyline they have here. Fucking love it here!!!

I was born and raised in Nebraska. I join the navy and then came back for a couple of years. I got offer a job that the pay was is to good. I live in NC now but I moving to a small town because I miss the small town feel I had back in Nebraska. I move back if I could and maybe in a couple of years I will.

i've traveled, i've been to different states, i've LIVED in different states. i just prefer to be home with my family where i'm comfortable. i don't like amusement parks, i've been nearly drowned a couple times so i don't go swimming anywhere. i don't dance, i just don't go out. and besides, why r u trying to put the focus on me? i'm happy here in lincoln, u r not, that's what the issue is here.

Go to Box Awesome, listen to some music (all kinds of genres), hit up Laser Quest, check out our sickening amount of targets, movie theaters, and wal-marts... Guess you gotta live in Lincoln to know what there is to do. There's actually quite a bit. Visit the Strategic Air Command museum, our national park, go camping... Go to our zoos in omaha and lincoln and other cities. Lotta stuff if you look hard enough! :P

Nothing too huge. Been to a pretty big city in Idaho, that's about it. Doesn't matter to me, I'm good right here, where I was born. Nothing beats the feeling you get from being in your 'home land' or whatever you want to call it. I have crazy friends to keep me company.

Its boring, too many damn cops in one small town, hard to make money out here, there's barley any jobs, its over populated, too many damn traffic lights, people are mostly rude especially the girls, the malls suck here, the roads are fucked up, the list just goes on. The city of Lincoln company is a joke and so is the taxi service.

Cops keep us safe, traffic lights are going to be in any city. In big city the people aren't going to drive faster because they can't. (And I know that Omaha does not have less of a crime rate!) Traffic lights are in all cities but they also have freeways. Ways to get places to places quicker. You can go 70mph when the speed limit is 65. I do it all the time.

It ain't nothing like Lincoln. 45 mph and I go 50 and get pulled over. Cops keep us safe but they also pull us over for some bullshit like making an illegal turn. They got nothing better to do because there is barley any major crimes here. Omaha for a big city compared to other cities have lower crime rates. You just got to stay away from the lower street numbers. More to do there. Can I really catch a bus at night.

For one, if you didn't break the laws you wouldn't get pulled over. And cops have every right to pull someone over if they are going 5 mph over. And I did that once and there was a speed trap and I didn't get pulled over. I've never seen anyone get pulled over for an illegal turn, but I don't know what kind of turn you mean, like turning into the second lane or turning left on a red light. I've seen cops take the second lane on turns though. I don't feel like arguing right now, maybe later...

Ahhhhh! Don't be jealous because I will be have lots of fun everyday and being successful at the same time. I don't have to worry about traffic lights on every block, slow drivers, and cops harassing. There is nothing here in Lincoln except for the Huskers. College is a little overrated because of the economy.
