I think it's funny that runescape truly has become much, much shittier than it used to be.. I mean seriously, go to google trends and put "runescape" in. peaked popularity in 06/07, although i personally prefer 05, but still 06 and 07 were great years. In 2011, it is at a peak unpopularity, and Jagex still act like nothing is wrong?Jagex, runescape is shit now! Nobody wants your pathetic new updates, only good update was wildy/free trade coming back. apart from that, with every update its worse.

I wouldn't say it was fair. Bots were still usable in 04, you just had to pay for them since it didn't leak very easily.

Also, i can remember nights where i'd wake up in at 1-2 AM and just scam people. The rush you got when you managed to snag someone was amazing.

people in 03 can remember the games room troll scam, the wine of zammy door shutting scam, the dragon kite scam and all the other scams that managed to make their way to the present such as armor trimming. 03 - 05 was the best.

I never botted. I hated botters. But when i started playing again last year, I began botting my main account i created when i was a second grader in 2005.
