I think this music actually brings out Simon's vocal abilities better than their pop ones, along with Milo's guitar skills. Also, it's a sad but soothing song at the same time. I really do love the Cruel Cruel World album.

I grew up with Prozzak and Toy Story. Both of them ended on a perfect note. I would not have it any other way.
This album really wasn't much of a departure from their previous albums. Most of their songs had elements of sadness, longing, and regret. They switched from a Europop sound to more of a rock sound on Cruel Cruel World, but they're still the same Prozzak. It was too much for those who liked the "funny cartoon guys." The duo behind Simon and Milo have gone on to the business side of music so we've probably seen the last of Prozzak, but at least they went out with a great underrated album.
Prozzäk was always a comedy pop rock band, but they connected to their audience on a deep level, and as their audience matured, so did the themes of their music. This album is far more serious, lacking humor and replacing it with experience, maturity and deep depression. I like all of Prozzäk's work, but I prefer their newest work, this album in particular. As mention by others, it didn't get the respect it truly deserved. RIP, Prozzäk.
I don't understand how this CD could've come out without anyone noticing. This is by far the best song on the CD for me though... with the exception of this song, I liked their old stuff better, but this song is my favorite out of all of em for some reason... it's very powerful.

I haven't really listened to these guys since about ten years ago when their music was on MTV. This is depressing compared to their fun music from the late 90's/early 00's.
This is an amazing album for prozzaks swan song. They tested new waters, made some great softer, darker themes then their first two album and still had that prozzak feeling. Brings the fictional duo to a sad close. Hats off to them.

"i dont want it, i dont need it" means that he doesent need to love and lose again. he just wants love. the part that depresses me the most is the part where he says "everybody thinks on so strong when im not strong at all". it reminds me of me. :( good song.
