Hearing Dan Achen's voice & seeing him work with Dallas was really cool. Dan, the producer of this record, passed away from a heart attack suddenly while playing hockey a few months ago. This video has snip-its of how he worked with musicians: It was an art, a friendship, a willingness to try new things balanced with dedication and consideration for being fast. His studio, Catherine North, is a special place, and Michael Chambers and Duke Foster are doing a great job of carrying on Dan's legacy.
