Looks great, BUT why is there a Scottish bagpipe parade? A bit more authentic (Uilleann Pipes) would be a nice touch! Irish bagpipes are far more beautiful than Scottish pipes anyway.......and, by the way, true Irishmen don't wear kilts!!! That is only a scottish tradition......get yourself an Aran sweater and a flat cap (looks better anyway). Other than that, the fair looks like it will be a blast!!

It has come along way since the days when it was in L.A. when Mary Foley was running it. Great to see it is still alive and well! Plus it has moved around from the original Cantwell High School, to the Rose Bowl, Equestrian Center in Griffith Park, Northridge and now in Irvine. Thanks to all the Irish bands over the years and thanks to the Anderson family and friends for all the work to orchestrate it.
