I don't understand why people keep thinking anyone that is Transgender is gay.... Gay is the attraction of the same sex what this soldier did was fall in love with a woman period.
Tansgender Men or Woman get sex changes because they identify as being female or male not do to attraction to the other sex gay males or females are very happy being the sex they are but are attracted to the same sex.
