Tyson had dreadful stamina... he wasn't doing shit after the 7th against world class fighters.... he spent his prime beating up has beens and never was'. FACT. Who was his greatest victory against? There is your answer to his greatness. He had great potential but wasted it and turned into a freak show.
i had a private fight with tyson in 1994 and i knocked him out ..but the promoter quickly destroyed all the fight footage and beat me up then said if i tell anyone they would beat me up more!!!!
Oooh, people just need to watch this clips and learn about real Mike Tyson. It is just funny people criticizing how he "is not great, fought bums, never lived up to expectations". Mike was devastating, agile, technically topped, power puncher, equally skilled with both hands, he was just ultimate boxing machine far ahead of his time, but as being too young he got caught unexperienced in new world of riches and he did not know how to handle it on his own. Incredible athlete and individual.
@nemanjaarsic1 Because after losing every round to douglas(which was pathetic) ,he unravelled and was never the same. All the 4 yrs prior was gone out of his heart. He never got it back, started getting hit more and razor ruddock finished tysons career off and mike said in an interview after the ruddock 2 fight, mike lost all the fighting fire in his heart and it showed against holysteroidfraud.
Cus Dàmato saved Mike, kept him focused and whatnot. But he altso used Tyson in the way that he wanted ONE more "Dàmato-champ" SO badly that he fixed all the troubles Mike got himself into.In school, groping Teddy Atlas` 11 yr old niese, basically telling Mike that as long as he keeps KO`ing guys no one can touch him or hold him acountable 4 what he does or how he behaves.NOT a good life lesson 4 a young thug from shitville N.Y.

And the fun continued, but not for the men who chose to step into the ring with Mike Tyson. Theirs was a different fate, one that came all too swiftly.
I wonder if fedor did boxing in his early life and trained hard he could beat tyson in his prime cause fedor was really lean when he was young look up "fedor emelianenko young" on google images
which is why he lost to buster douglas, he could of killed him but he didnt, if he was like Ali stayed away from them hoes and stayed focused like he was in the 80s he would be known today as the greatest boxer ever..
How can any one watch this and not think Tyson was the best there will ever be? Tyson at 20 years old was the ipitimy of a fighter. I wish he kept with the Cus Damato plan. He was supposd to be yongest HWC and go 50 - 0 to beat Rocky's 49-0. I knew it was over when Rooney split.
@SSMECHANIX yea i would of loved to see a tyson who stayed out of prison and kept rooney by his side.....your talkin about domination of a complete era of boxing
@SSMECHANIX tyson was not the best there ever was he could of been but he wasnt.. watch him how he acted on television interviews and molestation charges no he could of been the greatest and he was at one point but no he fucked that up
Yeah...the way Prime Tyson was conditioned, I never doubted back then that he could go towards the path of Marciano and get the elusive 50-0 plus the undisputed heavyweight champion title. That would've been a sight to see for us boxing fans!
@SSMECHANIX Because after losing all 10 rounds against douglas,he was never the same and never looked the same and all the tyson bashers jumped on the bandwagon that a tough fighter could beat him as tillis almost did when tyson was at his best defensively,
course the thing was, it was easy to watch tyson fights on vid, cos they were so short and decisive, you could watch ten tyson fights (his early fights espeecially) in the time it would take you to watch one fight from another fighter...
I once read tillis was in his best shape in 7 years! He fought a fight just like douglas but tyson was better defensively vs tillis.

Haha - no WONDER... it must have felt pretty good to be seriously challenged by an opponent who knew how to fight him after walking through so many.
