He has taken some pretty hard hits too, hes fallen numerous times (Many of which his head is cracked). He has this strange ability to cut his abs, bleed excessively, and continue to sing rampaging around the stage like a fucking gorilla. Hell, he can rip apart his mouth and still sing great.
@SwordOfWulves Sorry to butt in, but Kyo himself has admitted that a portion of his on-stage bleeding is very much fake. Though not all of it, sometimes he adds capsules in his mouth or whatnot simply to enhance the amount of blood seen when he cuts his mouth open or something.
Dir en Grey is truely a beautiful band. These lyrics always make me cry. They make such radical videos like Obscure and they make such beautiful videos like this and Vinushka. They all have meaning and are wonderful.

Ever since I started smoking weed I find it kind of difficult to listen to music like Dir en grey's. I feel like I need mellow stuff that fits me like Grizzly Bear, Nujabes, Empire of the Sun etc. but I don't consider any of those to be my favorite band. Dir en grey will always be my favorite band. I feel like they make their music completely out of pure emotion and it shows. No other band could move me the way they do or convey feelings through music with this much intensity. Beyond words.
I can say with out any regret that this is one of their best songs. I love kyo's singing voice its honestly breathtaking and .............well you know XD

That's what makes them so epic I think. Plus it does help a bit that they are such beautiful people in their own way...and they're gorgeous. :3
@JerseyProperty Obscure...sure is a thing. But the reason I love them is because of songs like this and Cage. I think Ain't Afraid to Die is their best song, but that's just my opinion. It certainly doesn't reflect the bulk of their work.

I listened to it while I was going through some personal life issues, and the song made me confident enough to let someone know what was going on. I love this song, and I love Dir En Grey. This is now one of my favorite songs. It just always managed to calm me down when I felt angry, and when I listened to it, somehow I could just cry freely.

Most of my music is also Japanese and I am learning their language as well. There are some that are racist to westerners, some who hate the Chinese, etc. So why not say they are all fat ignorant, close minded. I'm glad everybody doesn't think that way, I'd have no friends abroad. I was just pointing out him calling "americans" fat ignorants and close minded proved that he is one as well.

I have friends, I like a huge list of bands and actors/actresses. Not all people are bad. But, it is your opinion, and i'm not going to try to change it. Everyone makes decisions.

@xBVBxBMTHx weaboos mostly listen to anime derived songs and bands or bands that look visually appealing. dir en grey is getting older, they try less to appeal visualyl and have not appeared in any anime series with their songs, plus dir en grey has toured all over the world, you dont need to be a weaboo to know them : /
