Hey this vids old.. Like doubt anyone will answer me here.. But hey im new to wow like 2 weeks or so.. Imma healadin only lvl 42 I got recount how do u actually set it up to record ur heal data cuz right now it's only displaying DPS and as a healer that doesn't help me like at all.. @MrCrash570 If you haven't figured it out by now, there is a little arrow you click to go through the different data it records. Healing Done, Healing Recieved, Damage Taken, Damage per second, Rage gained and etc. Its right on the little box.

You can remove Curses etc with HEALBOT :), press ctrl or alt and mouseclick on the player and it will work.

Canadians rock. ^^ I would have mentioned the button next to reset (current fight/overall data). Sometimes when I'm surfing around a ui I'll flick a setting and forget where it was. That one was a beast for a few minutes.

Great video though, I think I've basically replaced decursive's functions w/ my HealBot.

I used to believe that.

For heroics and lower lvl dungeons, you have a point.

But in a 40man raid, decursive makes that job easy and efficient. I use Vuhdo instead of healbot, but same principle. And when you need to know everything about everyone in the raid at a glance, you need some addon to help.

As to recount... ;) As a healer, even in 5 mans, I use recount proactively. I heal the tanks first, then whoever is the top dps.

Using the keyboard? Do you even play WoW... If you do, and you don't use addons, first of all I must say this is a nono. Certain addons are required to do most end-game content - BOTTOM LINE. Second, to use healbot, grid, Clique, Vuhdo, or any healing addon is sometimes necessary with how intensive healing can get in most end-game/raiding situations. You should really know what you're talking about before you spew nonsense in front of the world....

i agree with harbisidian that it is a good video, and great help for some peole. however i seriously disagree with you when you said "i want to see my name at the top of healing done". Healing shouldnt be about the meters, not like DPS is. healing is about making sure you do your job right, and none of your `assignments` die. unfortinately, if yur group isnt taking damage then you cant heal, so you could be at the top of the meters just for having an assignment that stands in fire.

No matter what I do, I can't get the clicks to take. i fill in the boxes for left, middle and right clicks, i'm using the right names and they just don't work. only one i can get for some reason is shift right click. ok well I guess if you got the spelling correct, then you didn't figure out the difference between enabled and disable settings... if spelling is correct and resethb been clicked, the only thing left is your expecting to cast an enabled settings spell on a bar that is disabled or visa versa.

It comes up from time to time and this is the reason "Always use enabled settings" is now switched on by default.

For anyone else reading, from 3.0.2.8 the ResetHB is automatic.
