  • How much power and what kind of antenna did you use?

  • Ik zal je effe in het nederlands aanspreken

In welk decenia was dat de jaren 70 of 80 of 90?? :)

  • absolute nostalgia

i wonder tho how can they reach each other? must be amplified? no? the dutch law does not allow this (officially..)?

  • @sebaz1982

    If their are good conditions

You dont need alot of power

Ive talked to konstanz zwitzerland from holland with half a watt on cb fm

    Greetz 19-PD0-36

  • @MrDigic4 Thank you for your information. I really wonder how this is possible. When i was much younger, I had many 40channels cb-radio with high GP antenna that i placed optimal by special antenna-meter., and i could not go further then my own city..... how is that possible!?!?!

  • double the power per s unit. 4 watt s1, 8 s2, 16 s3 and so on. not 4 times power

  • Sounds like ham radio... hmm

  • That's a SWEEEET lookin' radio right there :)

I wish we had CBs lookin' like this one in the US, i tell you what.

  • @kd4adv

    Looks like a Midland 48XL.

These can be expanded to around 400 channels i think.

    Standard they are 40 UK FM / 40 Midband.channels.

    Feature packed,like scan,10 memory channels,auto squelch etc.

New price in UK is around £110. (sell very well on ebay in UK)

  • Seems like a noob has an overrange. That will not bring you farer. The realaistations can't give more than maximum of power away.

  • Hi can you tell me what the rf power adjustment is which pot pls and possibly audio too tnx.

  • You need to increase your power by 4 times in order to achieve 1 S unit increase. All turning the radio up will do is increase stress, heat and the chance of electronics failure.

    peace :)

  • i got this midland to but my mike it broking douwn:-(

  • nice skip

  • Great videos the sound is opé !

    73's

  • Some real loud signals there and a great video
