Besides, if we let them get benefits like go to college, they could then get a degree and a get high-paying jobs. It helps their situation, and they in turn pay MORE in taxes!! It's win-win!

Though that might be taking it a bit too far, but considering that people here illegally aren't quaranteed the same rights of legals or citizens then maybe at least on a local level we could do a modified Jim Crowe ordinance, like having to show proof of legal status to come into restaraunts, hotels, bathrooms, water fountains, the bus etc. Of course to prove it's not profiling we'd all have to show our license, but hey if the gov starts bugging them as much as it does us, then it's a good thing

first off I am not an immigrant- but yet I support immigrant rights- rights such as fair wages and the right to live without fear of I.C.E. busting in at 4 in the morning to drag them and their children off to a detention center. Well why would I feel that's important to me? If we as working people wish to improve our wages and working conditions, it will be necessary to join with immigrant workers in that struggle.

How can a fightback against company be organized if that company is free to have its workers arrested and shipped away? For these reasons keeping out immigrants is not the goal of any current or proposed immigration law; rather the goal is to- while talking about national security and other such lofty rhetoric- make more money for corporations who even now use "illegals". This does not benefit me at all, but actually hurts me by turning back the clock on worker's rights. Also, arguing on YouTube is a terribly pointless endeavor.
