Carol Burnett was responsible for the show being called "Password Plus!" She was a quest on the pilot of the show! It was called "Password 79! She was joking around and said "It's more than Password! I'ts Password Plus" and the rest is History!
What a classic idea for a game show! No doubt, there are reasons the Carol Burnett show stayed on the air as long as it did, and why MacLean Stevenson's shows ...errrr.... not so long...
"Morgan" is played by Joanna Gleason who would later go on to win the 1988 Tony Award as Best Actress (Musical) for "Into the Woods." (she played the Baker's Wife). She also is the daughter of Lets Make a Deal game show host Monty Hall
Oh my gosh, this is hilarious!!! Love that "Eunice" and "Mama" stay in character! Carol Burnett was the best - miss her show!!!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Kinda wonder if Vicki Lawrence didn't want to be there like that, but I chalk it up to it being her character's personality. (Besides, Vicki did "Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two-Woman Show", so she obviously loves the character.)
And, as usual, Thelma Harper brings that "This feels like a skit" thing to the show. And Eunice isn't helping.
And, of course, McLean Stevenson is a riot -- look at him during that All-Celebrity episode of "The $10,000 Pyramid", firing off insults left and right!
Same here... she appeared as Mama on the Bergeron version of Hollywood Squares and she had the same demeanor. Mama is one of the funniest characters on TV... I wish the series would've lasted longer!

This is neat! I've never seen this concept, but I like it, of the actors playing a real game as their fictional characters.

Thelma Harper = EPIC WIN.

Well, now I'll shut up and watch the show. ^_^
