imo the 2006, 2002 and 1998 world cup are the best, we all saw the legends like zidane, ronaldo, henry, figo etc all began at the 98 world cup, the 2002 world cup was also good as it had lots of shocks and surprises, the 2006 world cup had so many skilled players either finishing there careers or beginning like messi and ronaldo so much talent it was amazing. the 2010 world cup was very uninteresting and boring imo, it didnt showcase anyone and most of the stars flopped
