I do have to agree that it sounds similar to a Travis Barker solo, and it's not really hardcore drumming as such. Not to say you're not a talented drummer it's just don't label it too specifically otherwise you'll get people that just want hadcore drumming and won't accept anything different IE metal or punk. I'm not here to start a 6 page debate on drumming styles, just be careful how you label your vids to avoid muppets complaining about your style.

Try playing to a metronome set to 2/4 meter. Then make it swing a little bit. That will get you closer to the (traditional) hardcore beat.

One things a drummer told me, is no matter how good all drummers need some sort of judgment to better themselves. Mine, is that your blasts are very shaky, and you're incredibly tense while doing them. Also, quit being so tense with double bass. Otherwise, great job. :D

Very cool video man, I like your style of drumming. Mixing punk and thrash is a pretty cool idea and what you end up with sounds great. Your technique and speed is good. Work on those blast beats, some bass triplets and bass-bass-hand-hand rolls to work into that and you'll be away!
