It was easy to play through GW1 without really absorbing a lot of the lore, apart from the very obvious bits, so I appreciate the refresher, nevermind the details of stuff that has happened - or been fleshed out more - since GW1.

I'm also stuck in the limbo of knowing I probably won't read Ghosts of Ascalon, yet I am so hardwired to avoid spoilers that I can't bring myself to figure out what happened in the book. Then again, I suppose much of it will likely be covered once I get into GW2.

As I've never played GW this was a great ep. to give me some insight. That said, Bridger, we need some 720p love here. Especially if you have the intentions of using maps or other visual aids. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

Well that really sprouted from the hope to nail the whole thing in one show. I wanted to keep the narrative clear for new players. Each of the guests could have gone and talked in detail about many of the things we spoke about, but I was trying to keep a consistent and clear narrative so people new to the world of Tyria would be able to follow it.

It's Bridger's show. He invited 3 guests, so of course we allowed him to carry most of the show while we waited for his instruction. To be honest, I was surprised at the amount of research Bridger had done into the GW 1 lore, seeing he has never played the game before.
