This was also the first cartoon of the powerpuff girls right before tara strong started to voice dil pickles in rugrats starting from the first movie when she was recasted for voice of bubbles. I found that the new bubbles' voice was similar to dil's voice even though the dil's voice is boy.

And that show must have been on adult swim at some time as a repeat. The episode of Space ghost coast to coast was about different animators and they had a little competition, they showed the animators of Johnny Bravo and the powerpuffgirls and other cartoons. This clip was showed from the animators of the powerpuffgirls

Cause this was the very first episode of Powerpuff Girls back in the day. The reason the uploader saw it on adult swim was because it was part of a Space Ghost episode in addition to running on the daytime What A Cartoon Show. Space Ghost used to be shown long before adult swim came to be too. The short became popular in the 1990's so they made it into a show just like Dexter's Lab and Jonny Bravo. :)

Tommy and Buttercup were always done by EG Daily, and Bubbles was originally voiced by Kath Soucie!(who does Lil's voice, it doesn't surprise me that she used her Lil voice for Bubbles though! This would mean both EG Daily and Kath Soucie would be working on two shows together!)

Which I'm guessing Space Ghost Coast to Coast was shown on adult swim. The episode brings on the animators of various cartoons. One of the cartoon animators just so happened to be the one who made The Powerpuff Girls, so they showed that episode on the show.
