When i use my g27 with the free version of this game i only turn the wheel 90 degrees and it will be at full lock. Do you know how i can change so 720 degrees is full lock?

just curious, whats that noise when u turn? sounds like screwed up gears... i assume its just the motors trying to work for the force feedback?

The noise is the gears of the internal mechanism. This wheel, in particular, made a excessive noise and vibration in a one direction of rotation, so I changed it to another new, the new not to much noise but still doing something, all wheels they do .

I have read that the new G27 has helical gears, not straight gears like the G25, I suppose that the noise and vibration will be much lower and driving will be smoother.

looks like hes power over drifting, if you have a fast car with good horsepower you can crank the wheel on a turn and the back end slides causing the drift

Współczuję mu jeśli jeździ tak po prawdziwych ulicach. :P

W przypadku utraty kontroli nad kierownicą wykręciło by mu ręce razem z tą kierownicą. A gdyby wystrzeliła poduszka powietrzna, to na 99% połamało by mu ręce. I jeszcze przy okazji jego własne ręce wytłukły by mu połowę uzębienia :D

I got my G25 since yesterday and i can't get one great drift. But its so realistic, the force feedback is great. I have to get used to it.

i agree, but its true (as said in the drift bible) that if you get too much understeer in a corner, use the handbrake to get the tail out and erase the understeer. i guess it also depends on drifting styles too, cuz some people are more dynamic drifters, some use power over the most, some use the handbrake a lot, etc. personally i use a bit of everything.

GT4 and Rfactor don´t have good Force Feedback. LFS it´s more realistic than GT4. Rfactor is very realistic, but the lack of a real Force Feedback makes it lose many points as compared to LFS.

I recommend you try the LFS, and if you have any wheel of logitech (Driving force pro or G25), even better, because you can use 100% of the steering wheel as in any other driving game.

I agree with chuculate, but i'd like to add that in real life you can't have the same settings as in LFS, in LFS, it's like you are driving a brand new one, and with performance parts, except if you're very rich, it's pretty difficult to get the same on a real car ;)

It is quite similar. The problem is that in the LFS there is no fear factor and in real life it, in addition to not feel the G forces, and that much imfluye sensations in transmitting the car. But in the end, everything they learn in the LFS you can apply perfectly to the real driving.

Normaly i don´t use handbrake. You can do drift with or without hand brake, are diferents styles

haha, you have no idea dude. Like I said this isnt need for speed, no botton to hit to get ur car to drift. You use all moves you would in real life, weight shift, heal toe, power over, braking, accel off, shift lock and hand brake. If you havnt played the game to know it probably has the best physics out there for any race game, then you shouldnt comment against me. Check g25 Drift2 by dozedrift, im pretty sure I do a weight transfer or 2. nub

Depending on the vehicle driving is very different. You also have to prepare the car to make it easier to drift and after control the drift, link curves, etc.. Try it and thought, not just watching video you can draw a conclusion.

My only complaint about this wheel is the 6 speed shifter. I really wish it was A) Meatier, it's very light compared with everything else and B) Would go into neutral when a gear wasn't engaged.

It changes to neutral when you set up the Game correctly. In LFS for example you have to assign the Neutral to the Neutral position of the shifter.
