You Press "Escape" Then you go to "Load Item" (Item I think im not sure) Then You go To characters and spawn one you want .. you make them fight by pressing 'C'. Anyway, check this out :

A question: i noticed that scaling the brushes also scales the texture, i'm used to see that texture tiles in the majority of engines.

Is the tiling an option or the engine doesn't support it? If not, can you explain me the reason of the decision you made?

it is in development and the wolfire devs have told me that i will either stay the way it is or become a toggleable function but as the engine is still in development the feature is not yet used i hope that helped =D (im not a dev i just bug them all the time)

there is no such thing... each has their own engine and their own way of putting things together, you couldn't actually make a level for every engine out there unless you build it in each level editor separately

Only thing "missing": an auto-placement tool. What i mean is, if I want to place a roof and I don't want to pass 5 minutes adjusting it's angle, the auto-placement tool would do it automatically. The roof would "stick" to the selected (sur)face of a chosen part.

Well, start by trying the demo of lugaru so you can see the predecessor of Overgrowth :)

AND there is no official release date BUT if you preorder you get access to the alpha version, which means you can directly follow the development of the game and actually try every new feature before everybody else :D

And this video IS the alpha version, so you can start making your own levels, and if they're awesome they might even be featured in the main game! Or so they say :3

I don't think you explained how to actually -make- an object in the first place.

sorry to bring up an old post, but anyway, making your own object is an entirely different thing that no fps game actually has built in. The cool thing about the overgrowth editor is that you can use the very basic objects it comes with can be rotated, scaled, translated can really make anything. I've made a catapult, a crossbow, a spear, a whole lot of stuff literally out of a rock object and a wooden post object
